Hello everyone,

I was looking for some miracle today and magic "n/a" and I have found it!

I called nvc already and we have Case Complete as of yesterday (12/30)!! :dance:

no interview date yet.

no checklists. scan date - 11/12/2014

I am crossing my fingers for all of you !!

I am Nov 12th too but not CC yet... Mine its for a checklist... I called yesterday and the lady told me to wait a little more... I hope a miracle today before Next Year... Congrats that u out of NVC nightmare..

I just wanted to point out that unfortunately Saylin's excel document that documents your visa progress has a huge gap between the end of September and then the end of October. No one with scan dates

My thoughts in regards to scan dates and such: NVC isn't ever on just one specific date. It'll always be a range of dates, because there's more than just one person reviewing files. And although NVC

my case was recieved on dec .1 does anyone know how long its taking to get a nvc case number assigned

The reps will quote over the phone 42 days. Most people seem to be getting it around 30 days. Who knows. Good luck!!! :)

11-03-14 : NOA1, Case Transferred to California Service Center

11-24-14 : NOA2

NVC

12-12-14 : Case received by NVC

01-15-15 : Case # Assigned

01-15-15: DS-261 completed

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

Removal of Conditions

Hello Vjs,

I just paid my IV fee, now while we filling out DS-260 form, we noticed that my wife doesn't have surname in her passport, basically it's empty, but she has given names.

In ds-260 form, it says if you don't have given names then enter FNU, however, in her case she doesn't have Surname - not sure what to enter.

I would appreciate if someone shares similar experiences.

enter full name under surname field in DS-260 and enter "FNU" for First name field in DS-260

Question:

I just logged into nvc ds-260 portal to get a print out of the confirmation of ds-260 submission. Although, it took me to the first page of DS-260 and I saw that all the information that I have already filled out 1.5 months ago showed up. I have to click next, next until I reach the page where I have to put my signature and then it will take me to the confirmation page, although this time the confirmation date of the submission of ds-260 changed to 31ST DECEMBER 2014. I want to make sure if someone else has done this and got any issues with case delay. Share your thoughts.

Hopefully, they go by AOS & IV scan dates rather than DS-260 confirmation date. Wish you good luck.

11/5/2014 - Case # and IIN assigned

11/6/2014 - Welcome email from NVC and DS-261 submitted

11/7/2014 - AOS fee invoiced and paid

12/2/2014 - Send AOS and IV pack together from Australia

12/3/2014 - IV fee invoiced and paid

12/7/2014 - DS-260 completed

12/11/2014 - Package scan date

2/7/2015 - Case Complete - No checklist

3/17/2015 - Interview - Approved!

Affidavit of Support Fee just turned n/a, on hold with NVC right now.

Last scan date was December 17 for a mistake i caught no check list.

Case complete as of today 12/31/14
