I'm US Citizen and I applied for CR-1/IR Visa for my spouse.

While submitting DS-260 for my spouse, we didn't know exact dates of my spouse's employment history? Will this be a issue at the interview ?

Thank u in advance

Congrats to everyone who has a CC. I don't wanna be a total but I think it's messed up that NVC is doing Dec. * when there is still hundreds of people waiting from November....thanks NVC.

I feel the same way...I feel like an awful person for the negative feelings I get when I hear of late November and some December CCs . I am happy that those peeps are out of the NVC misery but we are only human and as much as I try to control my feelings the green eyed monster creeps out.

I dont understand how these later dates got CC already but my theory is that some workers are just processing faster than others due to experience and the newbies are much slower .Who the heck knows...

Annnnnnnnd ...I feel like it should be ok for anyone getting CCs with later scan dates to post their joy and not feel bad about it. We are all here for the reasons .

Hi saylin! Case complete: December 9, all thanks to you! Im now waiting for the interview date.. And also worried, my husband changed his job during the nvc process. How do I explain it during the interview? Do i need to bring his certificate of employment from his new employer and paystubs.

Just bring an updated I-864 with the new information as well as an employment letter and any pay stubs by the interview.

I get how the wait just sucks. I've been at NVC since July, sent my petition in January.

I've only seen my December CC, but I got a checklist for stuff I sent and on top of that I got wrong information from Nvc reps and sent wrong documents for checklist. I know I'm very lucky a supervisor actually reviewed and found my documents.

I hope you all see a CC very soon

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

Hello VJ,

I am curious to know what are some of the reasons people are getting checklists for.

I personally have read many reasons but alot on aos part 6 13.a.1 total income input incorrect amount. That was my experience r attorney didnt input right amount for 2013 and 2011 then I found the dependent section was no input. I fix and now await. New scan date Dec 16.

Question:

I just logged into nvc ds-260 portal to get a print out of the confirmation of ds-260 submission. Although, it took me to the first page of DS-260 and I saw that all the information that I have already filled out 1.5 months ago showed up. I have to click next, next until I reach the page where I have to put my signature and then it will take me to the confirmation page, although this time the confirmation date of the submission of ds-260 changed to 31ST DECEMBER 2014. I want to make sure if someone else has done this and got any issues with case delay. Share your thoughts.

Thanks.
