Hello all!

Well, I finally got a CC today after calling the NVC!!!!! my scan date was on 11/10 and CC was today 12/29!!

i was so happy when the operator told me that we got CC that i forgot to ask her a bunch of questions, all i could do was thanking her lol....

but she did say that it will take about a week for us to get the email confirming our case complete then we have to wait some more weeks to get the interview date....

i am just to happy and relieved that there was no RFE :) :) :)

Congratulations ??

Congratulations!! (F) How exciting ~ looks like you cruised right through that in less than 50 days with no checklists! Did you send both your AOS and IV packs together? You are the first November NVC filer I've seen (not for checklist) scan date to report CC... Yay!! :dancing:

I requested NVC to expedite my case base on advance pregnancy and financial hardship. Today I get an email from them requesting doctor's letter. What does this mean? They could conside it? This is what they saidWe received your request for the expeditious processing of this

petition; however, we require further information to process your

request. Please provide this office with documentation from the

physician currently caring for the person with the medical condition,

which states the diagnosis, along with your expedite request.

You may send the information to nvcexpedite@state.gov or to the postal

Do as they say, submit a doctor's letter. Anyone can claim they're pregnant and have financial hardship. You need to PROVE it with evidence if you want a shot at getting your expedite request accepted.

Omg! Thank You Saylin, Im stock they didnt shut my request down. I will do that email all I can to prove pregnancy and hardship. My question is what should dr write beside due date and that I am under his care. Omg, I pray we get it. Email I think its best right? I dont want to be given a new scan date for mailing this in.

The doctor should write the truth. A regular pregnancy on its own really isn't grounds for expedite approval (and I've even seen risky pregnancies denied). Besides a letter saying you're pregnant and when you're due, you should focus more on the financial hardship side (I'm guessing due to you being pregnant?) and submit lots of proof of that.
