The lawyer did the right thing , this last time he send 4 different forms, I don't know if it's right thing to do, and today I received an email from nvc that they received it on 12/ 22 , is it gonna be my scan date ?

I just wanted to point out that unfortunately Saylin's excel document that documents your visa progress has a huge gap between the end of September and then the end of October. No one with scan dates

My thoughts in regards to scan dates and such: NVC isn't ever on just one specific date. It'll always be a range of dates, because there's more than just one person reviewing files. And although NVC

So, it looks like the only mistake is question 13a. Did you fix it and send NVC a new, correct I-864?

Can I submit form DS-260 on behalf of my beneficiary? I'm the petitioner and we're applying for CR-1/IR Visa.

If so, should I fill the part that asks "if anybody helped you fill the form at the end" with my name ?

OK, I'm so sorry for not having checked in here in a while, but our case seemed to have gotten out of hand for a while at NVC. At some point our file even seemed to have been lost all together. But long story short after several weeks and hours spent on the phone with NVC, after weeks of complete and utter despare our CASE IS FINALLY COMPLETE!!!!! at NVC!!! Now on to awaiting the appointment at the US Embassy in Budapest. Thank you all fellow VJers!!!! Congrats to those who also got their CCs!!!!! So happy for everyone of you!!! :) Everybody still waiting for their cases to get completed, best of luck to you all and never ever give up hope that it will finally end and be done with, and your families will finally be reunited!!!! :D

Oh, our scan date for both packages was Oct. 20th. After getting checklisted for some confusing issues on Dec. 10th, we got a supervisor review promised to us, which - after some further complications during the past few weeks - finally got completed today (29th). :) thanks to the wonderful supervisor, Sue that took our case in her hands!!! :)

The checklist we got on the 10th was for some issues with the AOS forms and docs, which I described here back then, as soon as those got sorted out, our case file was found again (it was a long story...). and we, in the meantime, resubmitted whatever it was they had requested (they scanned those on the 22nd), the supervisor reviewed our case, she finally gave us the much-longed-for CC :)

I just got off the phone with the nicest NVC rep in the universe! He said my ds-261 hadn't been reviewed yet, so he did it for me and he told me to watch my email. I should be getting the IV bill in the next 7 days. Thanks to all of you here. I'd still be waiting weeks on them if I hadn't been reading this thread.

As far as I know CC letter doesn't do any good or bad. Some ppl got their P4 letter right away. so that might be a good thing that you didn't receive it. :) your time will come... ;) First week of Jan should be kind to us.

Hello all!

Well, I finally got a CC today after calling the NVC!!!!! my scan date was on 11/10 and CC was today 12/29!!

i was so happy when the operator told me that we got CC that i forgot to ask her a bunch of questions, all i could do was thanking her lol....

but she did say that it will take about a week for us to get the email confirming our case complete then we have to wait some more weeks to get the interview date....

i am just to happy and relieved that there was no RFE :) :) :)

NOA2: 9-11-14

CASE # ASSIGNED: 10-08-14
