Hey

I have question why some people get interview date sooner with cc recently and some people like you have cc on nov 12 or something and you got your interview in like last week of January.some with cc like dec 8,9 has interview date January 15 16 how they schedule interviews i dont know. I am waiting for interview date too. Still not got anything.

Even I'm clueless on what basis NVC schedules interviews. I heard your priority date and CC date are taken into account for interview scheduling.

However considering my priority date is April 30, 2013 and CC date is Nov 17, 2014, I don't see any logic behind this Priority date + CC = Interview date theory. I have a Jan interview date and that's what matters, so no complaints what so ever.

All the best and hope you get your interview date soon buddy!!!

How will you update your AOS? You mean you need to present 2014 tax return?

My case was complete at NVC on November 12, 2014. It has been over a month and still no interview has been scheduled. The embassy is Kingston, Jamaica. The Visa caregory is CR2. When I call NVC I am told case complete date and that all parties will be contacted when the interview is scheduled. What is going on in Kingston? Is this normal? When I check the spreadsheet, there are 2 cases with similar case complete dates and no interview for Kingston.

Same here. I am kind of happy that at least now I have a date to look forward to.

My CC was Oct 24th and my interview is on Jan 29th (they perhaps weren't scheduling interviews for later dates :P). My category being different, I am unable to compare if that is a factor in the interview-date-scheduling priority.

BTW, Do consulates send bunch of slots and NVC fill in the slots, or are the consulates in charge of setting the dates?

So we paid the immigrant fee on ELIS today and we were a little confused on how to enter her name. The instructions were very specific about entering it as listed on her visa, which shows her first and middle name together under given name. So that's how we entered it on the website and left middle name blank. Was that right and if not, can it be changed now that we've submitted?

Hi, friends!

I took the risk. I chose the date of the interview on January 8, although our documents still NVC. I bought a train ticket to Kiev and book our hotel.

What Interview Date Sheduled should I add to spredsheet? Will it be the date of receipt of the letter from the US Consulate, where supposedly I could set a date for an interview, if I was waiting for this letter as expected?
