How long did it take from your cc until "in transit"?

33 days for me from CC to 'In Transit'.

Visa in hand!! POE on December 24, 2014!!! WOW, the tears are coming now. My husband will be able to hold our son for the very first time! This has to be the best gift I could have received. I'm so thankful.

I know this part of the journey is very difficult. The waiting and more waiting. Love is everything for it has the power to change all things.

My hubby just received our case complete, I'm excited and a bit overwhelmed. So i'll be joining u guys here.

just wanted to ask 2 question:

I had sent a police record to NVC in the IV package. Will I need a new one to take to my interview?

Will the interview letter be email to me?

Congratulations. What was your case complete date so I can add you to the spreadsheet.

No you shouldn't need a new Police certificate for interview. Everything gets forwarded to embassy and its all good for a year.

I have question why some people get interview date sooner with cc recently and some people like you have cc on nov 12 or something and you got your interview in like last week of January.some with cc like dec 8,9 has interview date January 15 16 how they schedule interviews i dont know. I am waiting for interview date too. Still not got anything.

Hi everyone, I just moved to this forum as I just got my CC I have a question though, does anyone know how long after CC it takes for Case check web site to switch from AT NVC to READY. ??? Also how long does it take to get the email from NVC ? Also is anyone here scheduled for Armenia Embassy YRV ?

Now you wait for you interview to be scheduled. Once that has been done anytime from a few days to a few weeks your case file will e sent to embassy it changes t In-transit. One it is there it changes to Ready.

You get Case Comlete letter 7 days after your case compete. Interview letter has been coming within a few days of scheduling.

January scheduling is complete. February should start up 1st week of January.

What is your case complete date so I can add you to the spread sheet? Or you ca fill out the Case complete form yourself. It's in my signature below. Thanks

My wife's interview was on December 19th at Islamabad embassy Pakistan. She got approved for IR-1/CR-1 Visa. Details are given below:

She reached shuttle service at 6:00am and got into the line to get the ticket. After showing her passport and interview letter she got the ticket. First shuttle left for US embassy at 7:00am. She reached at the embassy around 7:15. There were two lines one for immigrant and other one for nonimmigrant. she got into the line for immigrant visa applicants. After showing her interview letter and passport she passed security and entered in the embassy. then she went for finger printing. After fingerprints she received courier services information flyer.

She was called onto the window where Pakistani CO was sitting. He asked her to submit her medical report and passport. She asked for an interview in Urdu.

She was called onto window where female American CO was present. Female American Co took her interview in Urdu. She asked her following questions:

Who is calling you from states?

Was it an arranged marriage or love marriage?

How this marriage was arranged?

When was the first time you met your husband?

Which date you met your husband first time? and who was present at the first meeting?

Was he married before?

Reason why first marriage did not work out?

He has any kids?

Was his kid present at your marriage?

Did he visited you after marriage?

When was the first time your husband went you USA and what year and what type of visa?

Did you visit any USA or any other county outside Pakistan?

Do you have any pictures?

After that she told her, you will get your passport in 2 to 3 days. My wife asked if she is approved and she smile and said yes. Then She returned original documents back to my wife.

The visa application status has been changed from "Administrative Processing" to "ISSUED" on CEAC website same day (December 19th). Now we are waiting for the passport back.

For the same embassy you mean. the scheduling of when in the month you get a date that's when the PD date can matter.

for all of you that will ask me how I got an earlier interview date - I sent an email to the embassy using teacup's format, told them that I have a pre-planned trip to visit my husband over the holidays and asked if it was possible to move up our interview date. to my utter delight, they accommodated us so moral of the story is, it can't hurt to ask. I emailed the embassy yesterday (when the ceac status changed to ready) and this afternoon they responded.

8 more hours till I get on a plane and I'm still packing -- I had to take out some gifts and put in winter clothes for my hubby

not sure when I will get a chance to log in again...I want to wish all of my vj buddies happy holidays

Yes same embassy. But i saw the PD date but who got early interview has PD later.may be if somone cancel the interview date and they filling that gap with recent cc

Its been a while, i haven't been able to come online because have been very busy with my husband, everyday is like we are celebrating.I have never been this happy all my life. We paid for his ELIS immigrant visa fee on November 30th that was 9 days after his arrival. But i thank God because his ELI page turned to optimized and three days ago it changed to card production. Then my husband called the USCIS number, talked to a representative then got directed to another representative and he was given the usps tracking number, we tracked it and it was the right one. Yesterday upon coming back from the gym, we found his 10 years green card in the mail. We were very happy and we had to celebrate it with our neighbors and my mom. We danced for hours, eat and merry. We were all happy. I just want to let you guys know that my marriage has turned out to be the best. I am very proud of my husband, I don't care what think about Nigerians, as for me have got a very good Nigerian husband though he lives in Germany and Russian for many years. I am blessed to have my Oko mi .... I miss you dwheels so much. i'm gonna give you a call pretty soon. miss ya sis

we will get the smear test result on the 23rd. a negative result will be proceeded by the culture test. yes, the inevitable 8-week wait.

Congrats!!!

The police record is good for 12 months. If you will need a new one your letter from NVC will tell you.

The embassy emailed me our interview letter. If you don't receive it after your interview date is given you can send them an email and they will send you a copy.
