Does anyone know how long it takes for NVC to transfer your case to the Embassy or How long before Interview dates are assigned? One Month/Two months?

There is no set time. You can look at the interview spreadsheet and see what has happened in the past for your embassy. Ms. Dwheels does and AMAZING job of keeping track of this

01/26/2017   Check cashed

01/28/2017   Received NOA dated 01/20/2017

02/16/2017   Biometrics done

10/24/2017   Traveled to Minneapolis for I551 stamp

02/26/2018     Case received by Field Office - S. Paul

05/012018     Case transferred to another USCIS office for processing 

N-400

02/02/2018    Filed N-400 online

02/05/2018    NOA online - NOA letter 02/09/2018

02/21/2018     Biometrics walk-in

Does anyone know how long it takes for NVC to transfer your case to the Embassy or How long before Interview dates are assigned? One Month/Two months?

Once interview is assigned they will send off to embassy sometimes within days or weeks.

The scheduling for Kenya is complete for January. The February scheduling should start up for everyone last few days of December or 1st week of January.

And Interviews are scheduled for the month ahead.

Hi everybody!

Can you help me? My husband has changed his address in America and telephone number. I pointed his old address in online aplication DS-260. What will I need to change before interview or during interview? My case is expedite for interview, so I wait for call from US consulate to point interview date.

Kristina I'm not sure what your consulate requires, but I believe USCIS does require your husband to file form i865 if he is sponsoring you. I just did the same and plan on sending those forms with my hubby along with proof it was mailed for his interview just so they wont have any reason to put us in administrative process. http://www.uscis.gov/i-865 Edited by TagTeam

Do you happen to know if scheduling for Russia is complete for January? I checked the spreadsheet for ideas on how long it takes, but doesn't seem to be many from Russia there. Thanks!

I just got off the phone with NVC and the rep informed me that they are completely done scheduling January interviews. She said they should start scheduling February interviews the first week of January (so January 5-9). Just fyi in case anyone was wondering. I'm happy to have CC and I trust that God's timing is always perfect so if it's going to be February, that's ok with me :)
