That is your case complete letter you got. It wasn't that they got fast date, they were in the queue when scheduling was started. The scheduling stopped at 12/8 for both consulates in India for January. Just hang on February scheduling will be in a few weeks.

January scheduling is over? Rep told me yesterday that it is not done yet.

So I have some good news... Our interview was Dec 1, but we weren't approved right away because my husband had some previous issues with his visitor visa that we knew could be a problem. So i didn't post anything because it all felt really scary and uncertain and I wasn't ready to share. But now....

My husband received an email today that said his VISA WAS PRINTED and HE CAN PICK IT UP FRIDAY!!!

I can hardly believe it and my husband won't believe it until the Visa is in hand (actually until he's through POE). Thanks to this entire community for their knowledge and support. We literally could not have done it without the information and support of Visa Journey. I am so glad that I learned of this site.

Congratulations. Wondered where ya'll went. Wonderful news.

Hi all

I was requested to Submit I-864A signed by the joint sponsor's wife, and she does't have any income.

Would any one please tell me why NVC asked for this form.

I think if your joint sponsor is married and filed joint tax returns, you should submit I-864A from the spouse. You can prove joint sponsor income by providing copy of W-2 but looks like NVC is requesting I-864A. May be due to consulate requirement. I know for Indian consulates it's a must..

Congratulations. I have added you to the spreadsheet. I haven't had any DR's this month come to the thread so have no Idea.

You can always call NVC to see if they are done scheduling for DR.

Thanks DWheels!!

So is getting an interview date scheduled a long wait, or is it different for every country? I'm a US CITIZEN, sponsoring wife from Dominican Republic. I know dwheels76 sort of answered this earlier, but calling NVC didn't help me since they said just to wait lol.

I have registered on Loomis-DHL service and added my daughter as a family member and confirmation shows me as an principal applicant and my kid as a child.

Now i think if should I register her under separate account since we have two separate cases and two separate interview letters? Does anyone know?

i have a question for you, how long did it take to get a interview date from the NVC for montreal? i have a CC of dec 12 2014. also how did the medical test go? what kind of question did the doctor ask and for the chicken pox vaccine - did you have the chicken poxs or get the vaccine for it? i had the chicken pox and got 1 dose of the vaccine just in case but idk if that will be approved cause i only have one shot even though i had the chicken poxs as a kid.

My CC was November 6th (I think, check my signature) and my interview is on the 18th. Dwheels probably has a better idea of when they will do the next round of scheduling, I would guess your looking at a Feb. Date at this point but I don't know.

At the medical there's a blood test to check for syphilis, and xray to check for Tuberculosis. For chicken pox I just had to check a box that I had it as a child. Bring your vaccine records, it should be fine. There was a vision test, they checked my weight and height, then there was a general medical part. They ask about previous hospitalizations, mental illness, substance abuse problems, any conditions you have or medications you take. I took a note from my GP explaining the details of the postpartum depression I had as we'll as the medication I occaisonally takes for migraines but he didn't even look at it.
