You can't go back to your country right away. If you urgently need to, you can make arrangement with Aruba to go back without passport but you will have issues coming back into Venezuela. Highly recommend staying in Venezuela till you get your passport back. Sorry it's so inconvenient for you.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll have to try and make arrangments because staying in Venezuela is not an option.

Hello Fellow Interviewees!!! I have several question i need cleared for those with experience in the matter... I GOT CASE COMPLETE DEC 10TH.

I AM TRYING TOGETHER ALL NECESSARY DOC SO I CAN TRY MY LUCK WITH REQUESTING ANY OPENINGS FOR CANCELS APPOINTMENTS IN JANUARY, I BELIEVE I MISSED JANUARY INTERVIEW WINDOW

1. If your spouse does NOT have vaccine shot records, what is the minimum shots required for Kenya?

2. We mailed in ORIGINAL Birth/Marriage certficate/ police report/ AOS......

What else do i need to bring for the interview?

3. Since my AOS was approved, do I need to bring (w2/1099 or any other IRS related doc to the interview?

1.Your physician will suggest you for vaccine at medical - nothing to worry about it

2.you need to bring the copies of it .Also you need to bring Evidence of Bona fides of Marriage

3.no need if you have already submitted your IRS transcript and recent W2's to NVC - otherwise "yes" you must bring it.

Thanks for the information, Might you or anyonw know how this would be handled if you have to intreview in Venezuela but you are from another country and your passport is needed to fly back to your home country right after the interview?

Thanks

I don't know-- I'm guessing you might need to plan to stay a day or two, and pick up the visa at the embassy? I know one of the Venezuelans recently approved told me that she picked hers up a couple of days after the interview because she had a flight shortly after... but I know it's a hassle to have to stay, especially as Caracas is so violent.

Does anyone else know?

Maybe try messaging other members recently approved in Aruba of other islands that interview in Caracas to see what they did?

Good luck!
