you have to call nvc to get your interview date

Thanks Qbanita! I did call the NVC and she had no idea about the interview date! She did let me know that our Case was sent to Ciudad Juarez, Mx. My Hubby's Case has shown 'READY' since this Tuesday morning. By the way.....i am Cuban also! Howdy, from Houston, Texas!!!!! :content:

UPDATE:

Case shows "At NVC" still.

Unable to set up biometrics appointment on the visa info website. Says the case number is not available to set up an appointment. Starting to get frustrated.

The Mexico City ASC is unable to take walk-ins. Calling the Ciudad Juarez ASC now.

Has anyone from Mexico with a January interview date been able to set up a Biometric appointment?

Dallas, TX

I feel for the poor people out there in the world who don't know the things to do and wait on their hands for NVC to email them and such and loose so much time. You see it now and then people who say we been waiting months to hear from NVC and we are like call and they are like why do people call.

I remember back in 2012 when i was there the lady was like "who are all these VJ people and why do they call? They know so much"

Vj is awesome, I don't know what I would of done without this site and all of you guys to help us along :) I remember before I got my aos checklist I was following the dates that nvc was working and a week before I told my attorney we should be hearing something about my case that following week and also I express to her my concern about a checklist ( cause I read so much about them here ) she acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and to not trust what I read in the internet.. then boom just like I told her we got hit with a checklist that following week and I FLIP OUT on her big time ... lol then in the middle of the argument she ask me how did I know when NVC was going to contact us and told me it was weird that I knew that.. Bottom line I would of been 3k richer and my hubby would of been here already if I know about this wonderful site before I started this process.. :)

For Nigeria your biometrics (fingerprints you will do at interview. Some embassies like India and Mexico they have to go to another facility before interview. Also no need to register on USTraveldocs. That doesn't apply to you.

You just go to interview and you will go to Lekki address as instructed to pick up Visa. All the best.

Thank you for the info. Dwheels. I appreciate it. God Bless you. Just knowing the Nigeria is not the easiest embassy makes me a little nervous for my hubby. So we are trying to prepare as much as possible ahead of time to reduce the stress. So I'll try not to be anxious. I know God has already moved on our behalf and I'm going to have faith and believe we will get approved without delay. God Bless You.
