I just recieved the package. Our joint sponsor had ticked 'I m a US citizen' in part 11a. But it's written that mark 'I'm a US national' (for joint sponsors) I have checked that box as well. Should I use a whito on 11a or is it ok if both boxes are checked?

Had my interview yesterday and we are approved!

Thanks to the many useful tips from the VJ community especially about having the W2 on hand, we avoided the dreaded 221g. Pick up is next Friday. God bless all who have shared their experiences and contributed to making this journey come to a successful end. Best of luck to all those who are still waiting for interview dates or actually waiting to interview.

My little concern however is that I forgot to update the Consular officer about the fact that my intending US address has changed so I emailed the Consulate this morning.

Still waiting an a reply from the embassy on where our visa is. I called customer support for usvia-info.com.... here is what I was told "It does not matter that CEAC shows issued. Until you have a waybill number on our site your case is in AP. The embassy has yet to send it to DHL. Once that happens the site will be updated. You can keep checking or give us a call back." :ranting: No, sir once CEAC shows issued that means the visa has been printed into the passport and it is not in AP. I ended the call and will try again later.

Visa was issued on 12/8 and should have been ready for pick up yesterday. After the CO advised my husband (on 12/5) he was approved she told him to check the site in two days and the visa would be ready.

I understand each case is different but its very upsetting that we have been approved and issued and still can't move forwared.
