Help VJ!!!! There is no longer a panel doctor in my country where I reside!!!

My interview is scheduled for next month. I called the ONLY doctor, that was/is on the list of authorized panel doctors in my country (Aruba).

I was advised its been about a year since they have NOT been contracted to administer the immigrant medical exam, yet he is still listed on the usembassy.gov’s website.

I’ve sent the embassy an email but it might be days before I even get a reply. I can’t seem to find any updated list for my country and I’m lost at this point.

There is no US embassy in my country, so we already have to fly into another country to do our interview. I’m hoping we don’t have to fly to another country to do our medical, fly back home and then fly back again for our interview.

Any advice or help will be so appreciated.

Go to your countries portal here http://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=Aruba see are those folks with approvals ask them where they went. PM each and everyone of them now. I am sure you will get valuable information. So hang on there.

I know they are old but many member stick around. Doesn't hurt to ask. Also post on the VJ on Facebook and ask.

I have a question

I received my interview appointment Dec 3 and the letter Dec 5. I was wondering why it says At NVC still when I check the status.

Because it still at NVC. Petition don;t leave immediately. It depends if they are completed with scheduling. Some batches they keep for a week or two its all up to them.

I second what dwheels76 said about contacting the other Aruba VJ members, but also - I assume you're going through the Caracas embassy? I think the most up to date info is on this NVC page (http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/prepare/medical-examination.html) --- the PDF for CRS embassy is here: http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Medical/CRS%20-%20Caracas.pdf ...I think you're out of luck, they seem to have deleted the Aruba doctor from that list. :(

Thank you both. We have reached out to a few members and it seems they did indeed have to travvel to Caracas for the medical as well. This really sucks!

I had my interview today. They lost our joint sponsor's documents. I m soooo pissed off I can't explain it. They kept my passport and said we will issue u the visa in a week or two max after we get the AOS form and transcript from the sponsor. Nvc lost it and we have to pay the price. It's just ridiculous really. They hardly asked me anything at the interview though. Just two qs that was it arranged marriage or love. And have u traveled outside Pakistan before. The lady was v polite though. So I don't have anything bad to say about Islamabad embassy. But Nvc sucks big time!

Oh Samreen I am SO sorry about that. At least they will issue it as soon as they get the docs. NVC are unbelievable. Is it easy for you to get all the sponsors documents again.

Interview went fine, didn't ask many questions at all and didn't ask me for any other documents. (Interviewer spoke mostly to my husband (USC) about how he misses American food! lol

Going to write my full review now and I'll post in here later! :)

I just saw this, and no, no naked as a baby!! .. Hahaha

Awesome Teacup. Hopefully it won't be long until you have the envelope in your hand and you can book flight. Back in the US before Christmas.

WORST DAY OF MY LIFE --- i was issued a 221 (g) after my immigrant visa interview. they want more additional processing on mefrom MONTREAL CONSULATE>. and its NOT BECAUSE OF my marriage or validity of it. Its because I have a PhD in sciences. YEAH.apparently I am too educated to be in the USA. funny i got my education there. :cry::angry::girlwerewolf2xn::alien::wacko::o so more additional processing.strangei have been going to the USA 15 times.in the last yearthey never needed to do it thenand suddenly now they do.

it can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 year. YES!!! so i am giving up on going there. All i can do is get my spouse here. i submitted the paperwork they wanted from me but i don't have any hope it will work at all. i have seen how much time they can make you waitthis is truly disgusting. :cry::cry::cry:

No no no. This is unbelievable. Of all people you should have sailed through. Look, it is no consolation but you may get it in a couple of weeks.

Would be interested to hear what MohBar has to say on this one. He is also very educated.

Me, I only graduated with my undergrad this past August and I am 51!!!

I will be watching to see how this plays out.

I recd my p4 mail today - mumbai consulatw - however i am confused abt the pcc - it says they recd a photocopy and i have to bring the original - but i sent the original to nvc. I will try to get another pcc as well but i am not sure if i will get a new one since it has been less than 6 mths. Should i speak or email the nvc or the consulate in mumbai?

Try to contact embassy. Btw you got only one pcc from regional passport office? Normally they give you two, if you specify that you are applying for us visa. I got my passport pcc from kochi and they provided me two originals. When I asked them why two, they said you may need it later since you are applying for a US visa.
