Is there biometrics to be done before interview? Does the consulate give you a biometrics appointment?

Or is it just the medical(possibly immunization) before the interview?

Medical must be done before the interview. Biometrics will be taken on interview day.

Pay extra what? There is no Visa fees you have to pay. Can you explain what fees you have seen extra people have had to pay so we can separate fact from fiction.

Granted different embassies charge delivery fees,

And there is the $165 Green card fee (paid on the ELIS online system after Visa approval) but nothing else) explain please.

I have seen comments like I had to pay an extra fee. I think it might be for non immigrant visas.

Just a question. My petitioner already got the schedule of my interview through e-mail. Jan. 9, 2015. Although I know that we do email processing I'm still aware that I haven't got a printed interview letter from the US Embassy. What am I gonna show to the US Embassy if I don't have any proof that the US Embassy sent me an interview letter. HELP?

Forward the email to you. Doesn't NVC have your email on file. Anyway just forward the letter is in your name abyway. Since I am sure your spouse was names the agent they got the letter. I think NVC started sending to just the agent not sure. They use to to both emails on file.

Does anyone know how I can track the package from NVC to the consulate? If I need to check a website(such as ceac), could you please post the URL to the website? Is there some kind of tracking number which can be obtained from website or?

Keep checking the https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==site for it to say In-Transit. Once it says that you can track via DHL sort of a guesstimate (Look at the first post please).
