Your dad need to complete I-864 as a joint sponsor. If you combining parents income then need to complete I-864A.

I was told that my dad and mom both had to fill a i-864 A even though i have no income. So that is why i have been confused about the whole who signs the sponsor part on line 13.

Getting the visa depends on each consulate.. I remember Chennai Consulate used to have next day pickup for CR1 .. now its 3-7 days.. you should check your consulate site.. some have next day pickup from consulate.. If you choose a pick up location..Pick up will be available 4-7 days after visa printed...

Thanks! I'll check the DR consulate and see what it says.

Finally case complete yesterday, December 22, 2014. I have mixed feelings right about now. 8 months at NVC and finally cc. But, im anxious about the interview. Typically how long is the actual interview at the consulate??? I have sooo many questions in my head right now!!!

My interview was last week. It was about 10 questions and lasted 5-10 minutes. I was there for roughly 2hrs waiting to see the interviewer. Bring a book or magazine to read.

Can someone explain to me all that needs to be done now. My case status is now in transit. I know that once the status is ready I need to sign up for Loomis and do my medical, but what else? i keep seeing travedocs and I know about Elis, but please help what else before the interview? You seem to have everything ready to go. I felt like I was missing something because I had all this time on my hands lol. Have you booked your hotel and made travel plans? I used hotwire to book my hotel.

Hi guys!!!

so... I just came back from the medical exam, everything went well apparently.

the doctor asked me if I drink and I said yes... on ocassiion and if I use drugs, which I once tried weed per peer pressure but I just didn't care for it and never tried it again.

I was a little worried because I was being send over to the psychologist for an evaluation, but... psychologist said that she wouldn't give any recommendations to the consulate that everything looked ok.

has anyone had an experience like that before?

I'm interviewing in Ciudad Juarez

Thanks!

Hey friend. Yes, I have read reviews about what happens when you disclose any type of previous experiences with drugs. That matches up exactly with what others with the same experience have shared.

Good luck! It's going to happen soon!
