I just downloaded the new I-129F from http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-129F.pdf

It has the expired date of 01/31/2010.

Save it off locally... I still get the old form even after I clear the cache... They must not have all the "mirrors" in sync

YMMV

I just filled out the new I-129F. I will be sending 03/01/07 after I return from seeing my fiancee'. To be honest with you, I could not see a difference at all except for one thing. The expiration date is now 01/31/2010. That's all ;)

That's good to know. I think it was fwaguy who had one of the other "new" copies that noted there are now checkboxes instead of just check these if they apply (re: convictions).

Yup ... only difference I see is that Part C Question 2 changed ....

There is a new information box on the first page warning that the filing addresses have also been updated, but checking both versions, all the addresses are the same, so not sure what was updated.

Does anybody know how to change a front in Acrobat Reader? Me and my bf have been tried to fill up the new I-129F but a front is different and my middle name is too long.. When we write in old version of the petition everything is fine, we can write my middle name but in new version a front is different and it doesnt let me to finish my middle name coz it's too long for that front

may be anybody know how to change a front and make it the same as in old edition of i-129f?

I don't think you can change the font. At least my Fiance and I couldn't find a way how to do it. We filed our I-129F last week and used the new version of the form. The boxes are too small for that type of font. We couldn't fit my Fiance's city (not that it is so long - just Pleasant Hill) and my country (Czech Republic) was also too long. We just left those boxes empty and filled them out by hand afterwards, our lawyer thought that was fine.

So I'd suggest to fill the information that won't fit by hand after you print it.

Good luck!

My fiance downloaded a trial version of Adobe professional. It allowed him to increase the size on some of the boxes (particularly on the G325a) where we had run out of room. I think he only did it once on the I 129f - for his (two) middle names. We didn't have to write anything in ourselves on either form - although that is perfectly acceptable to do!
