Hey guys !!

So as we are in CR1 process and we are collecting all the documents.. I am in my home country Nepal.

Things done (no one explained me earlier and even when i asked in Nepal forum in VJ and even to lawyer in Nepal). Hope this info helps:

1. Express MRP Passport applied : Get the authroization of your document from your village and apply for express passport in Kathmandu. And in 10 days the passport is received.

2. Birth Cert : Getting birth cert. from Registrar is pain coz no one knows who is registrar in Nepal. I search all over internet and never found the info. But when i went to my VDC (village Development community, i was issued the birth cert. and VDC (Warda) is the registrar

3. I could not get death cert. of my parents because of way to late to claim that. They asked me for 21 years where was i and why i didnt ever asked for the same. They asked me to go get the letter from hospital. But then i dont remember the doc name or hospital coz i was kid. So i am still stuck with that.

4. Certfied copy of document : Get the same done in your own district where your document is issued from. I had to make return trip to my village coz the court house in kathmandu said no. So i had to get back to Morang to get the document certified by court house.

5. Get all document translated by a law firm and later get the same certified by court house. Remember this also had to be done in same district.

My question :

1. Someone told me that i have to get Sharm (this is nepali term for people heading abroad to work) Registration. But then we are processing CR1 visa... Do we need to get that resgistration ?? I got this info of Sharm registration from http://www.dofe.gov.np/new/but then it doesnt says anything abour Cr1 Visa. Can anyone shine some light and give me information ??

I look forward to hear from you guys.
