Seems like you may have misunderstood what happened. They took all your evidence and documents and your passport and medical just like any interview. They seem to not have need to talk to you. And now you are in AP (Administrative Processing) and they have asked for you to come back on January 8th. So I guess you find out then.

And yes your mother getting mean tested benefits when she is not eligible is a violation. How it effects you I don't know. Who is sponsoring you? Did he get a co-sponsor?

You dad abandoning his greencard should not matter.

So all you can do is be patient and wait until your next appointment. No one can guess what the CO is going to do.

Hello,

Do not worry. It is true that the embassy is too busy to do interview. This has happened regularly at Phnom Penh embassy this year, especially to the fiance cases.

Some had to wait almost 4 months more after the 1st interview date was rescheduled. So just prepare as usual for your next interview date. Also ceac case status will show your case is in AP.

Hope this help calm your nerve.
