RFE processing time at CSC?

I had an RFE issued on Oct. 10th. Since I needed documents from my fiance, it took a while to respond (not to mention the fact you have to wait for a paper letter explaining what it is that is missing), I managed to get a response to them on October 30th. It's been 4 weeks now at CSC.

I'm curious if anyone else had an RFE at CSC around the same time and whether they've received their NOA2 yet?

I don't have any advice for you but I know an approval is typically received within one month (sometimes before) of sending in the requested evidence for an RFE. If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason behind your RFE?

I had two RFE's....both for wrong size passport photo! The first one was on 9/30 and received it in email 10/3....sent it into CSC on 10/4...they received it on 10/6 and had second RFE on 10/15....they received the correction on 10/22 and we had our NOA2 on 10/27! Based on what I heard they respond to your RFE pretty quickly.....I would try contacting the office.

Hey! I have similar case like you! We got RFE on Oct 15th and sent documents on Oct 31st. It has been already 4 weeks, a month! We still have not heard of any news from them or changes in USCIS case site. Does yours still say "Request for Additional Evidence Notice Was Mailed" in USCIS case site? Ours is not changing from there. I am asking my fiance to call USCIS to make sure they received our document and check if there is any issue... I really do hope everything going to be fine. T_T

Hello Pianist27,

My fiance called USCIS today and they said they received our RFE documents but have not updated that information on the case status site yet. Just to let you know how's mine going... and still pending and no NOA2 but I'm glad to find out they received it without the documents being lost somewhere. I hope you will hear your news soon!

My status online also states that the documents were received on October 30th. Let's hope they found their way to the right adjudicator. The status does also state to call if there is no further update by December 29th.
