;) ha! Actually the biggest reason I asked about whether or not they actually send emails and text is because 90% of the time when I say email me or text me when a decision is made I never received it. Especially when it comes to mail with tracking numbers. Anyway, I did get an email from USCIS today and my application has been accepted. I sent the application on the 28th of November and received the notification today December 4, 2014. They had the application in hand on December 1, 2014 (the date it arrived at the P.O. box). I got TSC--as expected. I am happy that the process has been started and look forward to the journey.

So I have been reading that the Philippines has been getting faster approval at TSC than applications not within the Philippines. Is that still the case?

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

I am not trying to be a smart azz with you, just pointed out the reality of what the K-1 visa is. If you have not asked your GF to marry you and she has not accepted your proposal... then you are jumping the gun some. ;)

What is the 90 days for? That is the number of days the U.S. government allows you to plan a wedding and get married. As you will attest to in a letter to USCIS - Original statements (from both the US Citizen and foreign fiancee) certifying an intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US on a valid K-1.

I have a curiousity question about the case number. I know what the number signify. But wondering about what internal USCIS number fellow Filipino's got? Especially since they have been getting approved quicker the last few months. I've read that typically the internal code number is 5 AAA (service Center) BB (The fiscal year) CCC (the number of workday received) D (the internal USCIS code, typically a 5) and finally EEEE (The case number received-specific to your case. I am curious about D, the internal code and the number was? Or if that has any, if at all, any significance. If your number was different from the typical 5, was the service faster than your counterparts? Or was it the same as others who filed about the same time?

So I am finally there. Sent, ready to receive my future wife in the states :) when that time comes. We are hoping for a miracle and that we do not get TX, but since I am from Virginia then it will is looking like the place it will go. But who knows, maybe a miracle will happen ;). I will keep up-to-date on progress, but hopefully it will not be too drawn out. If we do get TX and we hear nothing by August, we may just withdraw the petition and be married there in the Philippines, I will just live there for a short while and then file directly.

So the next step is waiting, but also preparing for the documents that she needs. I am familiar with the stuff needed for the I-134, the DS-160 and the DS-230 (both once NAO2 is approved), is there anything else she can do while we wait? Immunizations, how about NBI clearance, etc...?

since your fiance is from the phillapines it won't matter if your app is sent to TSC. You will get your NOA2 before most TSC, non-filipino filers that sent their application months before you did.

Also, I don't get the logic that if you don't hear anything by August you will delay the process even further by cancelling your petition and marrying which would cause you to hear nothing for an even longer amount of time. Doesn't make sense at all.

That won't happen actually, we will stick with the fiance visa no matter what, unless something changes of course. We are content, our hope and goal is wedding in the states by July or August.
