Interview at Cairo Embassy: Did I mess up?

Hi everyone,

I'm really hoping I get a CC within the next few months, but who knows! In any case, I just have a question for people who already had their interviews.

Do I need to bring original documents to the interview? I mailed all of these originals for the IV/AOS Supporting Documentation and I have photocopies. Was I supposed to mail the photocopies and keep the originals? I just assumed if I sent those to NVC, they would send the originals onward to Cairo...
