One would certainly hope that if they have announced the official expiry of the old form that they would post the new form for all to use... but then again we are speking of a governmental agency

YMMV

let me answer that with an example.

me and my wife send in my paperwork in june 06, im already in the us here on a student visa for the past 6 years... they sent me my EAD oct 06, the EAD had a mistake, i moved nov 06, filed the change of address form, called the national center and updated the address on ALL my applications, told them about the EAD mistake, got a letter in a week saying my address has been updated.

end of dec 06, i recieved my fixed EAD at my OLD address... which is a few blocks for me so it wasnt a problem, the post office will not forward official/government mails, so regardless of the address is in the US, or abroad, the probability of them messing up just increases....

however.... you are also required to provide an accurate residence address for any alien..... flip a coin?

If we are talking about the non US fiance in Israel moving then contact the consulate in Israel after the case gets to Israel, if is about the US citizen moving, do the moving after the paper work is at NVC or use an address like a parent's home, it is very hard to get an address change made at USCIS for the US citizen.

The I-129F form is valid until it gets replaced on the USCIS site, if you send it in before that date then it is valid.

Has anyone heard how difficult and how accurate is for the foreign fiance to change the adress and for them actually following it through?

I know i will sent them after 2/18 that's why i am not sure where i'll have to find them and if the site will be updated with the new forms.

NYGirl,

Depends. Are you comfortable that no one associated with the friend's address is on a watch list of any kind?

Even if you are I would not play games, I would do as some others have suggested - give his address as whatever it is at the time that you submit the petition. If his address is different when the petition is approved, notify the appropriate consulate when you receive notice from the NVC that the approved petition has been sent to the consulate.

A basic tenet of immigration is, do not make misrepresentations even if it seems innocuous or expedient at the time. It's a bad habit to get into, and you never know when it might come back to haunt you.
