RFID = Radio Frequency Identification.

Essentially a passport with an imbedded chip...like many of today's credit cards.

Anybody know what it contains? Apparently, there are a ton of knobheads (based on youtube) who've destroyed their passports (by microwaving them) because they're so fearful of the govt. tracking them. smh.

That card has info about you, like name, birth date, place of birth... The thing with these micro chips are to make it easy for officers to pull your file from the system and its supposed to be more secure so passports don't get counterfeited as easy as the previous (old version) passports. Now about having the government tracking you, I understand that people are so freaked out about government tracking you (I don't know if that's true or not) but if you are not committing any crime that is against any law I don't see no reason to be worried. I applied for my passport in April and I will not destroy my microchip in the passport because a little group are being phobic. Let the government follow me, I know I'm not committing any crime, I don't have to worry about it. At least that's my point of view.

The green cards have them as well.
