Your are IR/CR-1 you receive a green card when you arrive, don't need a work permit, just a S.S. card

The green card acts as your residence permit, ID and work permit. A nice all-in-one combo. Just doesn't serve as a drivers license, unfortunately. :P

Although for certain applications (such as an SS card) you'd have to provide your valid passport to go with it probably, but if you're just applying for work somewhere showing them your green card would be sufficient proof of work authorization.

With your green card and passport, you can do just about anything that requires ID. Next step is to learn to drive if that is something you desire. If so hop on over to http://www.dmv.org/ok-oklahoma/drivers-permits.php and follow the directions to obtain a drivers permit which is the first step in obtaining a driver's license.
