Yes.  I remember they said that I should call them on Nov 24 which is today. But when I called them earlier they said that just go back on the scheduled date they gave to me which is on Nov 29. And they do'nt gave my result.  Should I email them to ask again the status my culture??

No harm in calling SLEC.  Weren't you given a date to contact SLEC when you started SPUTUM?

There ya are!! :)    No need to email or call .. just do as instructed.   You "got the results"!!

If the culture had been positive you would have been called and instructed to start treatment.

Hi everyone!

just a question about slec rescheduling the interview because of the sputum and culture test... when did you get your new schedule for interview? did you also call US embassy to re-schedule and cancel the date given by NVC

We want to get the assurance that slec will not miss rescheduling the interview... :(

Lately SLEC has not been doing that.

Did SLEC say they would cancel your interview?

If not I would give the embassy a call.

Scheduling the Interview:
By Calling (632) 548-8223, (632) 792-8988.
This service is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers may speak with an English-, Tagalog-, Ilocano-, or Cebuano-speaking operator.
Applicants, agents or petitioners calling from the United States may also use this service by calling (703) 520-2235.

That's what they told my husband. They said we don't need to call the embassy and they will do it for us since we need to wait for the result of the culture test.

OK.    If they said they would cancel for you, then all is good.

Just starting the 8 weeks of SPUTUM?

Actually, today is his first day for the smear test.

I want to get an assurance from slec, but then they said we just need to wait. My husband's interview is in 2 weeks.

Unless he is positive with the initial test ... hope for the 8 weeks.
