Car plows through crowd protesting Ferguson decision

MINNEAPOLIS — A rally in Minneapolis turned scary when a car hit and then drove through several protesters.

Several hundred people gathered Tuesday afternoon near the 3rd Precinct police outpost to show solidarity with Michael Brown. Helicopter footage from KSTP-TV showed the car pushing through protesters and driving over at least one. A woman suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the car called police soon after to report the incident, the Associated Press reported. Police said the incident is under investigation.

That's what happens when you block streets. Bunch of losers!

Run people over!! Now that is a modernized attitude for an American.

Once again I need a disapprove button for you.

I can only reiterate that a disapproval from you is considered a +1 for anyone with common sense.

i wouldn't worry about anyone thinking that person driving through a crowd of protestors exemplifies common sense. i think teddy's tiara is cutting off his circulation.

It is ok to protest.

But stop blocking the streets and traffic!

Why inconvenience others?

(being inconvenienced doesn't justify running people over)

The only thing wrong the driver of that car did was slow down.

But we know that is actually coming from the ones with no common sense.

i'm sure that's the decision the cops will make, too.

Use common sense, don't walk in the middle of road, if the road is not closed to traffic/cars.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Being inconvenienced doesn't justify running someone over but, having a bunch of people jumping on your car and banging on your windows certainly justifies trying to get the hell out of there IMHO. Anyone remember the Rodney King riots in L.A.? Being caught in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people can be deadly.

I have no patience for these types of protests, the people causing the problems deserve whatever happens to them.
