on the I-130 paragraph C it is asked the information about your relative, If I follow the example found on this website this spot should be written with the petitioner name but as I understand it should the beneficiary since is the petitioner who is suppose to file this form for the beneficiary, I m confused

here the link on the example : http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-130.pdf

The example form is showing it correctly - the "About your relative" is listing the beneficiary, Jane Joan Smith. The petitioner on that form is John Jerry Smith in section B.

The example does have a mistake on page 2.

Section C on page 2 should be the same information as Section C on page 1

I still don't get this, if the petition should be written by the petitioner and the c17 on page 2 is asking for information about your relative and to list the spouse, the relative of the petitioner is the beneficiary...

As Frips said - that section is about "relatives of the beneficiary", who, in this case, is the husband and petitioner. It could also be any children the beneficiary has, for example.

OKay if you are filling out the form, then it asks you a question about your relative's relatives, who would they be? Your relative is the beneficiary and their spouse and children go here.

Try to remember the I-130 is a multi-use form. It is used for children, spouses, siblings, and parents. All these people are your relatives, people you are related to.

So if you were doing an I-130 for your mom, you'd write your mom's spouse, and all your mom's kids, including yourself.

If you were doing an I-130 for a child who isn't married (like a step child) you'd write NOTHING in that space because they're not married and have no kids.

I think I get it, in this case the only relative I have it would be the petitioner which i will have to write in there like the example I guess...

Yes if you are the beneficiary, and you are helping the petitioner do the I-130, you must do it from their point of view. Their name, dob, and relationship to you would go in that spot.

In our I-130 my husband wrote his name, dob, and relationship, then my daughter's name, dob, and relationship. So if you have children they must go in there, even if they are adults or not immigrating.
