Hi All :) Upon receiving our case # and IIN, we entered the CEAC website and in there we were instructed to choose our agent so we filled out DS-261. However, it was 3days now but we still cannot see the Pay Fees for the AOS and IV. How long does it usually take for it to be available and is it normal that the status for AOS fee is N/A then the IV fee is Not Yet Paid? Thanks! Just a little worried here.

A weekend just passed, give it a little more time. As soon as they have reviewed the DS-261 they will unlock the AOS fee. Once that payment has cleared (in 3 to 5 business days I believe) the IV fee will be unlocked and you will be able to fill out the DS-260 and send in all your documents. Good luck!

Thank you :) I'm just a little worried because the AOS fee isn't unlocked yet and I have read that alot of people got to pay the AOS fee the day after they submitted the ds-261. Thanks again :)

I think it just depends on the luck of the draw. Some people were lucky enough to have their DS-261 completed early in the day (maybe?) and were processed the same day? There is no rhyme or reason to how NVC does things, unfortunately.

Yeah, and it somehow saddens me because we really wanted to finish the process and be together soon. We'll just keep praying and hoping for the best. Thank you :)

The AOS fee should become available first, within a few days of your case number and IIN being generated. Ours arrived roughly five days total after we received our case number.

Once the DS-261 is reviewed and accepted, the IV fee should be invoiced. The NVC have been quoting 30 business days to review the DS-261.

Really? Upon entering the site for the first time, the Pay Fee isn't available yet while the instruction in the top page of the site is to complete the ds-261. I'm not sure why its like that. So upon seeing that, we filled out the ds-261. We are still waiting for the AOS fee to be available. So you are saying there might be a problem with our account? Thanks!

I am awaiting the same thing and just got off phone and they told me they have 41 days to review it. So we are all getting different timelines. Wonder what the timeline really is.

My husband called yesterday and was told that maybe we can expect it by next week. Hopefully we'll be able to pay next week so we can get going. Good luck on your journey :)

That's right; apologies, the point I was trying to get across is that the IV fee is linked to acceptance and reviewal of your DS-261, which is taking the NVC 30 days to complete once submitted. The DS-261 was available straight away for me too. Our AOS fee became available about five days after logging in to the CEAC site for the first time.

Is that 5 calendar days or 5 business days? Still not available for us. It's been more than a week now. But my husband called NVC yesterday and he was told that maybe within this coming week the AOS will be available. Hopefully it'll be faster after we paid the AOS. NVC is all about waiting... >.<

For us, it was five calendar days. I called the NVC; we got our NOA2 from USCIS on the 25th of September and then nothing. I finally got through on the 20th of November and obtained my case number. We haven't had any correspondence or anything, so if I hadn't have called we'd still not have completed the DS-261/paid the AOS fee. I guess the lesson there is not to wait on them to give you a hand! Unfortunately, the waits are going to be much longer, considering the higher amount of approved petitions they're receiving from USCIS. Grrrr....

Thanks for writing the proper linkage,

I was confused from that poster that mentioned the AOS fee bill is viewable after DS-261 is added to the casefile - I know that to be absolutely wrong - IE - the IV fee bill is visible after the DS-261 is added to the casefile, with the AOS fee bill visible within a week of the IIN being issued.

business days, usually, and remember we had a holiday here this prior week.

No there is nothing wrong.

Give it some time.

We just had a long weekend in the USA, and many government places were closed on Friday as well as Thursday.

Yeah, same here. We're just checking the website everyday to know if we can already pay the fees but until now, it isn't ready yet. Almost two weeks now.
