Witnesses reported an elderly man was run over after two people stole his car on the parking lot Faraci pizzeria on South Florissant.

Jaye Perry, 52, of Ferguson, said she had been talking to the man and he had told her, “Only in America do you see stuff like this.” The man then went back to his car to get a new oxygen tank, which he had been using to help him breathe.

But then two men approached him and took his car, she said. The man held on to his steering wheel and tried to hold on, but was run over as they sped away. He didn't appear to be seriously hurt, and continued to yell for his oxygen tank. An ambulance took him away.

Just got back from St. Louis. Mom wouldn't let me leave last night since the riots. Sorry I couldn't get pictures, I wasn't allowed out of the house. Talking to my boss who lives in the middle of Ferguson informed me there was a lot of out of state cars involved in the looting. I've been instructed to stay out of STL until things calm down. It's a shame folks come from different areas to tear up someone's home.

61 arrests in Ferguson overnight

FERGUSON, Mo. – Sixty-one people were arrested overnight in St. Louis County amid the unrest that erupted in Ferguson following the announcement of the grand jury's decision to not indict Officer Darren Wilson.

The arrest numbers were released by St. Louis County Police Sgt. Brian Schellman. He says at this time he doesn't have totals for property damages, burglaries, thefts, and arsons because it will take some time to compile.

Of those arrested, 59 are residents of St. Louis or the greater St. Louis area, and some were arrested for more than one crime. They range in age from 17 to 66-years-old. The first arrest happened at 9:20 a.m. the last was at 3:40 a.m.

You do realize that Ferguson isn't that big. Meaning the folks arrested aren't from Ferguson. St. Louis and Ferguson aren't exclusive.

Yeah, I've never bought into the "out of town looters" theory. There are gangs in these towns that "own" that turf, if people or gangs from outside areas were to come in and loot their town, their would be fighting and bodies all over the place.

Yeah, I've never bought into the "out of town looters" theory. There are gangs in these towns that "own" that turf, if people or gangs from outside areas were to come in and loot their town, their would be fighting and bodies all over the place.

My boss, who lives there was in the thick of this. She called me in tears this morning complaining about it. Alabama, Illinois, Memphis, and a few others. This was her account. My point was to dispel that folks from Ferguson were tearing up their own homes.
