Bill and Family,

Congratulations on your just rewards and successful interview!

Though we've never met in person, we have very similar timelines and I've watched your progress...while simultaneously 'enjoying' my own visa journey :) . Your posting is a nice ending chapter (for a while at least) to a successful immigration story. Great closure!

Our interview is next month, and I hope we have as much success as you and your family have experienced at your inteview!

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Peace and continued blessings to you and your new family,

Mark-N-AAm

Felicidades!

Congratulations once again Mark to you and your wife! There are many beautiful and wonderful places to visit and live in Mexico, though like you, my preference is here in the US with my husband. Wishing you a speedy turnaround on receiving the greencard. Funny, once we get the green card, we're headed for Mexico for some authentic Mexican food...we've both been craving it!

Based on my overall experience thus far (from 2003 until present) I'd say the AOS part was the easiest.

Now I've almost done it all for my wife's family. Brought her here on a K1 in 2004. Applied for my wife's daughter to come last year...approval was about 2 months for that. Sent in my wife's I-751 last February and we're still waiting on that. I even applied for the DV for my brother-in-law and he not only got selected but I guided him through the process as well (even going back to Bangkok to guide him and my step-daughter through Bumrungrad).

I brought both of them to the USA last month and both of them now have 10 year green cards (came last week, less than 30 days after arrival). Still waiting on the wife's though :crying:
