So I made a call to the near by approved surgents in our area, they said that the information on the form DS-3025 could not be transcribe onto the I-693 form. That my wife have to get the whole examination done all over again, eventhough it's been less than half a year the doctor would not be liable for the form he signs. Off all the Docs I called I haven't had any luck in reaching the docs. I'm waiting for an answer from anther place I called.

<07-12-06> K-1 recieved (transferred to CSC from Nebraska)

<07-25-06> Touched

<09-18-06> Touched and approved

<10-20-06> Case sent to Bangkok embassy (NOA 2 Recieved)

<10-23-06> Case arrived at Bangkok Embassy (9:53 a.m)

<11-15-06> Packet 3 sent to embassy via express mail (still waiting for packet 3 from embassy)

Hi all,

I was just poking around and found this thread. As you can see by my signature, we farted around getting our AOS filed, then got an RFE and it seems we're caught in the backlog. What are our chances of getting transfered to the CSC and not having to do the interview thing?

How bout that! Right after I posted here I went out to my mailbox and low and behold were two letters from USCIS with interview dates for my wife and step daughter! :dance:

Odd thing, my wifes interview is at 1pm and my eight year old step daughters is at 2pm... shouldn't they be at the same time?

wow the aos process seems to move more quickly than the visa process. hopefully we wil continue our good luck and have no problems. i am prepping as much of this stuff in advance that i can. i will likely spend a ton of time here to get advice.

**i am going to meet w/ my useless attorney the day after we get married to tell him he is sacked for a lack of competence. i am terrified he will fight me for the balance owed on the contract which he smartly builds the aos process into.

Hello All!

I did not realize there was an Sawasdee AOS thread either. I'm glad I ran across it though...just yesterday. Now, I am also glad to add some good news to this thread! I got the email message this morning stating that my wife's EAD had been approved...and card production ordered!

Its an amazing bit of timing actually...as AAm is going for an initial job interview today <haha>...!

congrats on 2 years! that's wonderful and the kind words. i am the bride (usc) :oops: i know my husband and i are a more rare case when it comes to thailand. funny though most of the mixed couples we know the man is the asian one (even in my case since my dad is asian and my mom is caucasian)

anyhow nice to "meet" you!

OOPS! Sorry about the mistake. It seems like your case, US woman-Asian man, is becoming more common.

yes there are a few of us here and i know quite a few in my area. i guess the trend started w/ my mom over 28years ago. :D.

i hope we are as fortunate to be as happy as you two a few years into this. long time marrieds like you are an inspiration to those of us new to this.
