Hi, everyone! I've been reading a lot from this site for my AOS from F-1 student to a permanent resident (recently got married here in the states!). My husband and I are almost done filling out the paperwork, but I can't find the answer to my particular situation yet on the I-485. Where it asks for my nonimmigration visa number, is that my I-94 number? And since I got my visa through my college, what "consulate" was it issued from? Thanks, in advance, for your help! This is definitely quite the process and it's so nice to be able to talk to people going through the same thing! :)

Congrats on getting married! woot!

If I remember correctly, there should be a visa number on your F1 visa. If I remember correctly, it's the red number in the right hand corner (if you look at your stamped i-20, it might help to confirm too).

As for the consulate, that would be the office/city where you got the visa from. I think this is in the top left hand corner under "issuing post."

Good luck!
