After submitting additional documents on 221g, passport came back today and a letter saying case sent back to NVC. can someone please recommend what i could do to relieve the pain I'm feeling right now. feels like a bad dream.

Additional proof of identity,additional proof of relationship which I sent.

If they sent back the petition to USCIS then you have to wait until they have revoked it. Here the part that I don't quite understand. Usually the approved petition sent back to USCIS not NVC to revoked.

Hello,can someone please give me an advice of what we can do next, I got a letter from the UKembassy that our file is being sent back to NVC after i submitted additional documents requested, what can we do next?

What additional documents were requested, and what did you send? Are you sure they received what you sent?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Thank you, but that is not what I need, this is regarding a case being refused sent back to NVC.

So this is before the interview took place and when you sent required documents to the UK embassy, correct? Did the letter say anything else why they were returning the folder back to NVC? I can only guess that maybe NVC forgot to submit something and that is why they are returning the folder back to them so they can resend it back to the UK embassy. You will probably find out once the documents are received by NVC. Is there a way you can contact the embassy?

No I've had my interview already and was issued a 221g requesting to submit additional documents which i sent in. my passport was returned with a letter saying our file has been sent back to NVC


What additional documents were requested, and what did you send? Are you sure they received what you sent?

No I am not British, i reside in the UK,he came to visit me last in April.

I have never heard of that happening following London interview. Can you write or copy the exact words you got from the embassy. In cases where an embassy doubts the eligibility, they have sent back to the USCIS to review the petition approval. I don't know what the NVC would do with it because they don't actually do any processing of K1s. There has to be a lot more to this story, your situation, relationship, nationality, and what questions were asked at the interview. And without knowing that, it is kind of impossible to help.

They are definitely suspicious of you or your fiancé. About 99.999% of interviewees in London show no relationship evidence. And their interview goes like "So how did you meet?" "what does your fiancé do for a living?" "Okay approved." It is a short chat and over.
