That's great. I hope everything goes well with you. I wish you all the best. Mine still says we have received your payment. I think the processing times depends on the state. Good luck to you and all the rest of us

Hi guys!

I sent my package in the beginning of December but I wanted to enter here and be part of November too because my process seems to be going smooth (Amem)! Hopefully I will be going for the interview and receiving EAD/AP at around the same time as you guys (hope you receive it first, obviously)

If you check my timeline down here you can see I already went for my biometrics and now I am just waiting! It's been 12 days since biometrics :pop::whistle:

Bellylaugh, your interview appt came about 20 days after your biometrics, right? I was reading your timeline! Hope that trend keeps up and I receive something soon!

Good luck, everyone

Timeline

I figured i would join this group being that we filed or AOS in the same time frame. I am excited to be finally filing for an AOS but i wish my EAD status would move as well. It has yet to move and its making me nervous, as my OPT is set to expire today. Any advice on what to do from here? :clock:

Nov-04-2014 (Day 0) Sent package including I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago via USPS Priority Mail

Nov-05-2014 (Day 1) Package delivered

Nov-10-2014 (Day 5) Notification via email and phone w/ receipt numbers for all 4 forms (NOA)

Nov-17-2014 (Day 12) Hardcopy NOA received

Nov-22-2014 (Day 17) Fingerprints appointment letter. Fingerprints on December 3rd

Dec-03-2014 (Day 28) Finger Print Taken.

Dec-08-2014 (Day 33) 1-485 Case Status updated to: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

My case is pretty much similar to yours, my OPT has expired, Fingerprints taken, basically just waiting for my EAD to arrive.
There is a clause saying EAD cards have a window period of 90 days.. so effectively, I have 64 more days to go before I should start filing for a request.
I'm guessing my interview date will take place before I receive my EAD.
Nov-13-2014 (Day 0) Sent I-130,I-485, I-131, I-765 to Chicago via Fedex Priority Mail
Nov-14-2014 (Day 1) AOS Delivered
Nov-19-2014 (Day 6) Hardcopy NOA Received
Nov-25-2014 (Day 12) Biometrics Appointment Letter Received
Dec-11-2014 (Day 29) Biometrics / Fingerprints Taken
Dec-22-2014 (Day 40) Notice Update, ready to schedule interview date and pending notice; (file for a request if I do not receive the notice before 21 Jan 2015)
Fingers crossed, and waiting..

That's great! Really fast. Mine was going well until I received a notice today that USCIS mailed me a Request for Evidence

I was hoping it was an interview notice when I saw the text message... unfortunately not. I'm thinking it might be related to money, because my husband did not have enough to sponsor me. It was off for like $100.00. I then added my car (paid in full) as an asset. I also translated my birth certificate and there was no statement or anything. We'll see! Waiting for the notice now...

What is your local office?

And are you worried about not having the EAD/AP combo card or not having the interview notice yet? Or maybe both...

Wishing all of your luck on your immigration journeys.

Hi everyone,

So I received the RFE letter.

1. First it asks for my husband's "complete Federal income tax return submitted to the IRS for the most recent year" - is this just a regular tax return report we print out of the IRS website? Or should we send other documents? (Btw, I obviously already sent it with the package).

2. Second request was for either assets or a joint sponsor because my husband didn't make enough for both of us. I will be sending 12-month bank statements from my bank account abroad, I will have a balance of about $100,000 because I just sold a condo. I'll be attaching the sale contract to prove where the money came from. Should be all set since it is 3x the difference that my husband couldn't make and I believe it was like $100.00 dollars. For real.

Any inputs will be very appreciated, thanks.

Hi guys,

My status changed to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" on December 17. There is the general description:

"As of December 17, 2014, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status..."

However, originally the message said I should receive my interview notice until January 16, if not, I should contact them. This part of the message has disappeared and it only says:

"We will schedule your interview and send you a notice" without referring to any deadline. Is if fine? And what has it been changed?

Thanks

My status says the same. Ready to be scheduled for an interview, as of January 13. No mention about another date or deadline that we should receive the notice by.
