I'm waiting for my biometrics appointment now. Also checking my case status everyday. I know that nothing is going to change for a looong while but somehow it makes me feel better!

Nov-06-2014 (Day 3) Package delivered

Nov-12-2014 (Day 9) Notification via email and phone w/ receipt numbers for all 4 forms (NOA)

Nov-17-2014 (Day 14) Hardcopy NOA received

Nov-22-2014 (Day 19) Fingerprints appointment letter. Fingerprints on December 1st

I'm sad I didn't get everything together in time for my husband and I to visit my family for Christmas. :(

Don't be sad. Everything happens for a reason. I was also planning to visit my family for Christmas and the New Year, but I don't think it will happen. Keep in mind that very soon, you will be able to visit them as much as you want :)

Hey guys! I'm a November filer too. Got my biometrics appointment some days ago and planning to have an early walk-in this week.

I was trying to comment earlier but I didn't know my account wasn't activated so I wasn't able to post at all. :D

My case was transferred from Nebraska to the local USCIS office.

Does it mean interview or approval.

Did you file for AOS or a I-1 visa? If you filed for a visa, it looks like you've posted in the wrong forum. If you filed for AOS, your case will be scheduled for an interview once it's been transferred to your local office. However, there is no given timeline for this. Our case is in our local office, but we still haven't received our interview notice. Best of luck!

Biometric appointment today. She seemed to have difficulty getting good prints from a couple of fingers so we'll see if I get called back.

I figured i would join this group being that we filed or AOS in the same time frame. I am excited to be finally filing for an AOS but i wish my EAD status would move as well. It has yet to move and its making me nervous, as my OPT is set to expire today. Any advice on what to do from here? :clock:
