Visiting Fiance in Mexico

My fiance lives in Mexico while I'm in the US. We had hoped to have already filed our K1 application, but some financial upsets on my side of the family have left us in need of another co-sponsor, and with no successful attempts at acquiring one, it appears we'll be flying back and forth a lot more than we expected before he can come to the US. Which means I'll be flying a lot, since we're both doubtful he'd be able to get a visitor's visa (and get in the US) because we're engaged.

But now I'm a little concerned about whether or not I'll be able to visit Mexico frequently, or if they'll get suspicious and not allow me to enter. I'm going down for my third trip (ten days) next month, and I imagine I'll be going back again in May. How often can I visit without raising red flags? How long would I be allowed to stay on a single visit? And if they ask what brings me to Mexico, should I say my fiance lives there or I'm just meeting friends?

It's hard enough being apart four or five months at a time, I can't imagine not even having that opportunity anymore.

I've made 10 trips to Mexico so far this year.

When asked by Mexican Immigration about the purpose of my visit I always reply "to visit my husband."

I have not experienced any issues or difficulties.

I travel to Mexico everyday to be with my husband (couldn't stand the idea of living apart). They always ask why I go and I always say the same thing: to see my husband. No issues....in fact, at this point they stopped asking LOL!!! Best of luck!

I think you should be all right. I would go visit my then-fiance approx. every 4 months, and I never had any problems.

Good luck!
