I hope everyone is good. Sorry that i am on visa journey after a long time. I made it to the U.S a month ago and been busy sorting things and now finally looking for work.

Has anyone recently got visa ? I wish you all the best and come out of ap soon. Ameen.

No updates...I called nvc today to ask about the status and the lady told me their system is down and to try calling back later...I wonder if it's true

I got update (March 16) automatic too cuz I havent contacted the embassy since 2 weeks.

Their system does go down sometimes so their probably telling the truth.

march 9 (senator inquiry reply) march 16 and 17 (automatic) , i dont get my hope up anymore like i use too, and dont know what their doing at this point in my case, their going to ask for a new medical before they do anything.

My husband got call today from embassy asking for additional evidence

western union receipts

call records

exit/entry stamps

airline ticket stubs

They havent asked for medical yet

Omg They are full of #######! All they like to do is delay delay delay...

Why do they ask for airline ticket and exit/entry stamps? Didnt they see pics of you both together in Pakistan?

To see how many times I have visited and how long i stayed, i went back in 2013, i dont have the damn ticket, but do have the stamps, i have what theyre asking for.

YESSS i sent them loads of pics, me hubby, me my in laws, my hubby with my family. Casual pictures. My husband is so pissed, he's like just give it or not, but why have us hanged in the middle when everything is infront of them.

Soo sooo frustrating.

They havent asked for medical yet

They still have doubts about your relationship and want more proof. This is a good thing because your visa has not been denied. I would rather see a delay then have your visa denied. After you send this proof I think they will make a decision. I don't know how long it will take but I think you will know something soon. If they ask for a new medical then you almost know you will get the visa. May God bless your proof and remove all their doubts.

Does anyone know if a person can send documents from usa directly to the embassy?

@sarahch my husband send from FedEx directly to embassy the previous time we were asked for joint sponsor .. Now its up to u to send it direct or send it to ur hubby n he will send thru AMEX .. According to my suggestion send it thru AMeX I'm doing the same this time my hubby coming n bringing docs with him they I'll send them by AMex. I've seen they process it faster

Btw...we have gone thru the same like u r facing now...they asked each and every thing from me & called me for second interview...I submitted Western Union receipts, Air Tickets, 100 pages of my wife's passport having in/exit stamps, Her dubai and Paki visas showing my name as husband, 100s of pics together, Original receipt of Damas Jeweller Dubai where we bought our wedding rings from etc etc...but still after that second interview we have completed 18 months in AP...my 2nd was fantastic interview I guess that's why I am in AP... LOL

I pray for your success and Almighty bring you out of AP very soon
