My husband got a call from the embassy just now, their trying to send a letter to him but cannot find his house which is weird, because hes registered with the american express office, i dont know why he cannot pick up his letter there, rhe man on the phone didnt say what the letter is about, but we are assuming he needs a fresh medical as it is going to expire in 2 weeks or so, has anyone had this experience where the embassy sends a letter to the applicant? I dont know what else it could be besides asking for a new medical. He has only been in AP six months almost since interview. Im worried

Be hopeful...iA everything will go well with you guyz...I had congratulated you in advance and today you guyz got a call...right...

on basis of my personal experience on VJ in 2 years several cases match the same scenario you are dealing with...most probably it wud be few more additional documents to fill up your file with...don't worry and pray...Almighty will help you

Also pray for AnF , Yarm, kaleem & Analyst who are really suffering in this trial of patience...

All bros & sis will come out of AP one day sooner or later iA

They have full address on ds260 form and updated email plus they can correspond through amrcn express

They do send letters to verify house address and current residence of the applicant...but to keep track of it and not loose track do send them an online inquiry about this...

My husband got a home visit today,that call for sending a letter was just a way to verify the house, there is no letter, two men came and no one was home, my sister in law's mother in law was home, they didnt come inside, they just asked two three questions and left, they wanted to know if he had kids, which she said no, they showed our picture to her , i have never met my sister in law, mother in law ever, nor does she know me, she doesnt live in Pakistan, she lives abroad and thats what she told to the two men, that she doesnt know me because she doesnt live in Pakistan, but she said good things about my husband and his family.

I am worried beyond words, I dont know why they have doubts on our relation, I dont know if the two men left satisfied, they never went inside house, just stood there 5 mins at the door.

any thoughts guys? someone give me some ray of hope that things will out

I dont think those scenarios match my case anymore, as they have started home visits

They are feeling a doubt about marriage or doubts like was your husband married before or divorced or if you are native American...even verifying residence only..

but no need to panic...they will ask if they require any doc or info...hope for the best prepare for the worse (extendedAP) if they are not ready...finger crossed...at least they r working on the case and an action is there ..not in my case which is dead...with no clue whats so ever

did your husband declared previous marriage and past divorce certificate? if yes then hopefully it will be cleared soon...no worries

Thank u for ur encouraging words trust me it means alot right now, my blood pressure is so high i think i need to go to the emergency room because i keep having panic attacks like what if this what if that, dont u think they will find it weird that my sister in laws mother in law doesnt know me at all? Don't be too worried and upset they did 2 field investigations on my husband before he got his visa. They usually don't come to the house. They take a picture and show it to neighbors and people on the street asking questions and looking for dirt. You will know if they had talked to other people because your husband would have gotten phone calls from people saying they talked to these men.

It's all a waiting game. These men have to write up their report before more work can be done on your case.

Thank u for ur encouraging words trust me it means alot right now, my blood pressure is so high i think i need to go to the emergency room because i keep having panic attacks like what if this what if that, dont u think they will find it weird that my sister in laws mother in law doesnt know me at all?

Take it easy n calm down..and think of it as the best side of it as its currently being worked on...and not in a black hole ...ok in this critical situation have ur senator or congressmen roll out an inquiry...(this will prove strong bonding and relation with u 2) so I think that's what they are trying to accumulate.....

I think they tried the neighbors but they werent home, i dont understand the logic behind asking people on the street or even neighbors, ive been living on one street for the past 7 years and my neigbors dont know im married and i dont know if their married. But i have nothing to hide, we have answered everything very honestly and provided everything
