New Islamabad AP-Tracker, Part III (merged thread)

My case got an update today on 8th February (Sunday) as I had updates on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th February.

I cant understand the reason for update on two off days (5th February National Holiday) and Sunday (weekly off day).

Can any of you guys share your experiences regarding what happens when case get updates on off days?

Asad213 got an update on Sunday and very next day he got call for Medical & DS 260 proceeding ahead towards Oath & F.Pts...

Omg omg i can't believe my eyse

my wife visa is issued. I m in tears.

still 1 month to go for medical to be expired. Embassy has not contacted my wife yet. maybe they might call her tomorrow to ask whether to pick up passport or get it by mailing. Thank GOD she got one month before medical expires. As soon as she receives passport. Boom i will purchase the ticket for v next day.

Congratulations Mueed! I am happy for you and rest of the people in AP who have their visa's issued.

I have my fiance in AP for 10 months now. Like others here, the CO said congratulations and that the paperwork was in order but they'll need to do additional review on the case. They kept the passport, said she'll be cleared in 2-3 months and issued a bluish green 221g form and here we are 10 months later.

Meanwhile, we've requested the passport back this January for traveling purpose. I am surprised to see so many people stuck in AP for such long periods.

I hope every one gets cleared so that they can start their lives.

I want to ask someone who's been tracking 221g as what is the possibility of visa clearance. Is Islamabad embassy taking an year or more to get AP cases cleared. Has anyone been able to figure out the pattern yet?
