8 years 4 months..n i think i am going through the longest AP so far on vj...yes i had red flags but hoping to be with my loved ones soon this year...

what red flags Analyst... and is it update inbetwen the AP.. or it is jst lying thr....and by update i mean like update itself not becoz of medical docmnts or inquiry

NO UPDATES since 22nd December 2014.

Dont know whether I would get a visa or not and if I would then dont know when?

Honestly everyday I look at the posts with a hope that someone, among all those who are stuck in blood sucking AP might have been given a visa. You all guys must know that I get pleased when either of you are pleased. When I dont see anything good, I get somewhat depressed. My duas are with you all and since I can understand the pain and misery, I make dua to Allah SWT to guide those who are not issuing us a visa so that they can understand that it is not just visa and passport thing rather it is LIVES OF PEOPLE and FAMILIES.

Alas that we are away from our spouses and loved ones not because we did something wrong but because we are not getting visas. Emotions apart and being rational, I want to request American authorities to please do something positive because its what you all are expected to do. Please dont deprive us from being with our family member just because YOU WANT THAT.

We had no updates since March. We got one update in September and got call for medical same day allhumdillilah

I pray the embassy will contact you soon for fresh documents and medical then issue your visa. Keep letting us know about your updates it is very exciting to know they are working on cases.

Was the medical the only thing they needed or do they need other documents they haven't asked for yet? They can issue the visa with only a month left to go on a medical. A visa might only be good for a month or 2 so always be prepared my brothers and sisters for a last minute dash to the United States.

I wanted to give you guys a quick update on my husband. He has been here almost a year. He had a part-time job and went to school full time to be a truck driver. He graduated from truck driving school. He is having trouble passing the driving test to get his license. The weather is very bad now with snow and ice if you make one mistake you fail the whole test. His name is Ahmed and he needs your prayers. Getting the visa is only the first step to starting a new life. Like most Pakistani men he wants to support me and send money home to his family. Truck driving will allow him to do that so please pray for him and those getting visas to have a great life in America.

In this thread there is so much to pray for. We must pray for ourselves, the embassy staff and each other. We watch people who are not from Pakistan get their visas in record time. That used to hurt me so badly. Yet the waiting I did made my relationship with God grow each day. Even though my visa journey is over you guys are my family. I will always be here to offer advice and to pray for you. We may be of different religions but we believe in the same God and I know he hears all our prayers.
