Im sorry, I know this is a nightmare, when was your last update? I read the review to your case, it went well it seems, did your case have any red flags maybe?

Have you ever tried to get any outside help? Like a senator or lawyer, I know they cant do much, but maybe by them pulling up the file, they will remember its there, I swear sometimes I think are files are just laying there collecting dust and more keeps getting put on top.

I contacted senators so many times but they are unhelpful....they jsut receive the same standard ap response and the senators say they cannot do anything to expedite it.

I had a small question for anyone who might know,

if a person has a cosponsor, does the embassy do a background check on them as well? or just the beneficiary?

No one can predict what embassy does & what does not but they check some times the co-sponsors when they ask to arrange one...

they ask for medical after every time it expirs or no they ask it for at some specail time..

Second question is that is thre any one who hv got visa and hav involvd senator in AP.... I kno senator canot do any thing but is ther any one who hav invlvd senator and thy have got visa not necesary because of senator but some time or a few months after that....

Medical expires in 6 months but they ask for it only when they need to and mostly its a good sign when they ask for medical bcoz they are ready to issue visa...

Senators are helpful some times and it depends on the senators as well bcoz in JanetUsman's & APKartoos case senator effectively helped and did great and whatever Embassy told them proved to be true until their visas got issued so fast...so stop worrying and start praying bcoz that's the only way to expedite the case and come to a happy end.

I had a cosponsor, my father and step mother helped me...I don't earn enough to support my husband myself

oh ok, I have a cosponsor but thank God I never had any issues with that. was just wondering if they check cosponsors as well which adds more time to AP.

Hi family. I emailed on 11th and 15th. I got a normal AP reply on december 16 saying case is under process, then on 19th December i got a reply to the second email saying I need to provide Proof Of Relationship (POR) sent to the office.... I am trying to collect information, i am hopeful that perhaps after this I might be near the end plz pray for me and And I will too for all my sisters and brothers.

Oh wow, after all this time, they ask again for this stuff, good to know, I have been still keeping records of our relationship since the interview as I was before the interview just in case.

Good luck!!! I think your AP is at the end now, sending prayers to you and everyone else stuck in this hell.
