Any one knows how much time it takes to get visa in hand? I am still waiting for a call from amex karachi.

If visa issue on Monday then you should have your visa by end of this week try to track your pp in amex website btw congratulations for your visa

Lets hope so.... Fingers Crossed

Well, if you have submitted everything they have asked , then I think your AP is over and their about to issue you visa real soon.

I dont understand how some people get visa within few months and they are recent cases while people who been waiting for more then two years, are still waiting. this is crazy and unfair.

My husband has only been in AP since three months, medical and DS260 are still valid in our case. sometimes you get a call or an email for fresh documents, lately from what I have seen on here, it doesnt take too long for fingerprints and oath, maybe a few weeks after submission. thats what I know, maybe someone else can tell you better.

My wife has been in AP for 2 and half months. VO told her that everything is fine and kept the passport and said you will receive ur passport in 3 months.

Did VO keep your husband passport and gave him any timeline ?

Did VO keep your husband passport and gave him any timeline ?

Their time line has no value so just pray and hope for the best...They told me 2 months as well but I am still in AP for 15 months

I know :( its really unbelievable

at least I have an idea that why my wife case was put under AP.. she lived abroad for studies. . She must be under TAL mantis visa clearance. Dont know how long will it take. . We r under lots of stress.. I will wait couple of months. . If nothing happens. . I have to go back to visit her. Life is miserable at the moment

What is additional review if anyone can explain?

I think its the same AP.. maybe different choice of words . You can say additional review. Mandatory processing etc..

Don't take me wrong but AP is different for every person and I have seen several VJs here who just got interviewed after me and got visas in few days or months & got rid of this nightmare...so be hopeful bro and iA your wife will get visa very soon...

I remember a VJ received the same reply from NVC and his AP was over very soon after that so you shud expect some good news in short time...
