My hubby had his interview on aug 1. And he was told that his visa is approved and he will get visa within couple of weeks. I didn't believe it. But he got his visa on aug 4 alhamdulilah. I believe that it was mainly due to the fact that i just had a baby daughter born in june alhamdulilah and CO said that baby and her dad are true copies of each other so she didnt need any more verification. And it could be that being a female, her motherhood love led her to make this decision. She did mention that go on first available flight.

Oh well, i pray for all of you guys to have their visas in hand soon iA.

I am sure that you guys make a lot of duas. What i think that worked for me was reciting astigfhar many times.

Looks like everything went smooth for your mom. InshAllah she'll get her visa. InshAllah all of us will get out of too. Praying to Allah to show mercy on us during this time. Amen!

It looks smooth if it's approved soon this time, but the history of her case is pretty bad, which i haven't shared on this site. me and my siblings haven't seen her for 2.5 years. She is living alone in khi. It is tough for young kids to live away from their mother , especially for my two younger school going siblings. we had never been away from mom before. How long you have been stuck in the AP for ?

MashAllah you got lucky. Me and my husband have two kids together (one of them is 4 years old the other one is 5 months old) and the CO that interviewed him was a man. So no motherhood there but he could've had a fatherhood lol. Anyways we got put into AP. The CO asked my husband two question how we know each other prior to getting married and if either of us were ever married before. Me and hubby have been married for 5 years. Its so hard being away from each other. InshAllah Allah will get us through this. I'm happy it worked out well for you.

Oh no, I'm glad she got approved though. Kids really do need their mother with them. InshAllah she'll get her visa soon. We haven't been in AP that long (2 week so far) but it feels like forever because we're in the f2A category and it took us 2 1/2 years to get a interview. Also we've been married for 5 years and we have two kids together so its kind of hard waiting for AP to be over. But InshAllah Allah will get us through this. I'm kind of nervous the CO didn't ask my husband to see any proof of marriage or kids. Obviously we put that in our DS260 but he didn't ask to see their birth certificate or anything like that. He just asked my husband two questions and that's it. I'm so worried what's going to happen. I hope we get out of this soon.

hey guys i had my interview on 1st of august and CO told me that further process is required and he placed me on AP and returned my passport after that m checking my case updates everyday on ceac website my case was updated on 3rd, 7th (after email) and today on 9th August... can anyone suggest me after how many updates the chances of visa issurence i know its difficult to say but normally after how many updated chances are higher of issrence

MY CASE WAS updated on Abu dhabi embassy website after 1 week of my interview below are the msgs

Your application for a U.S. immigrant visa is undergoing routine administrative processing. This processing can require from two weeks to several months. As soon as this processing is completed, the Embassy will post a message to this website with further instructions. Please continue to check this website on a regular basis for updates. There is no need for you to write, email, call or fax the Embassy with inqueries on the case, as that will not speed processing.

Honestly there's no way to tell. Some people on here didn't get any update until the day their visa got issued and some people constantly get updates every week for multiple weeks. I wish there was a way to tell. The two people who got issued a visa so far only got an update the day their visa was issued. Also I have a question what do you mean the CEAC website for Abu Dhabi? Isn't there just a general website for everyone? Or does it go by consulates?

Mashallah Mashallah Mashallah. That's so good. I'm glad you're going to get to see your mom. What are you studying by the way? My school doesn't start until the 29th I hope I hear some good news before then. It'll be a month for us next Friday. And the CO told us a month to wait. So hopefully they stick to their word.

Oh wow that's neat. Islamabad embassy doesn't have that feature on their website. And wow that's terrible you were put into AP for being Pakistani. Inshallah we'll get out of this. My husband has been in AP for three weeks now. He didn't get a white slip the CO told him we need more work on your case it'll take a month and you'll your passport back within a month from American Express. So I hope they stay true to their word. ??

Thank you for your kind words. I am studying computer science at CUNY. and yes hopefully CO will stick to his word. All of them are not bad, especially male CO. My mom was telling me that they were telling every interviewee if they were approving or delaying their case for further processing. I believe You will get your visa in time since you have kids and that makes the case stronger. What city you are at and what's your major?

Nice!! Computer science is hard. I tried taking one class and Java kicked my ###. I'm a labor and delivery nurse and I'm going back to school to get my DNP (doctorate in nursing practice) in anesthesia. I go to university of Maryland school of nursing. ? I feel pretty good about saying that since we're ranked number 6 in the US.

Yeah my husband was interviewed by a male CO. He only asked my husband two questions. He didn't even look at any additional documents. Also he didn't give my husband a white slip 221g. He just said our case needs more work and he'll get his passport back within a month through American Express. So I hope he's right. Also he didn't ask about our kids maybe he looked at the application but he didn't mention anything about them. Inshallah we get out of this soon.

Dear

I had applied for F-1 visa on 6th June 2016, for PhD studies with funding from department. My wife has already get her visa she is on J-1 visa and doing her residency there. We got out studies at different universities but at the same city. She got her J-1 visa the second day of her interview and she fly to USA as her program starts from July. On the interview day I told the CO that i want to accompany my wife to USA, and she said you will get the result of AP in 3 to 4 weeks. My wife is there alone and its been too hard for us to live seperately like this as we just got married in march.

My program will start from 15th August and till today I have not received any update on my visa. On the embassy website it is written that AP is processed usually within 60 days, but for my case it been more than 60 days.

I want to know that what will happen to my visa if the starting date of the university is passed ?

Do i need to submit them a new I-20 form ?

My professor has agreed that he could wait for my visa till 1st September 2016. Should I tell about this to Karachi Consulate Office ?

Any one here who has the same situation that his/her visa application in AP and her university starting date is passed ??
