Hi guys so our visa changed from AP to ready and the update said May 3 and non-immigrant visa on May 3rd and today it went back to AP. Is this a sign that it will issue soon?

we just recently received our NOA2 so we're pretty far from interview - but reading the AP process delays in this thread are shocking.

Is anyone of you guys and ladies who have children together - stuck in AP for more than a few months?

I'm trying to figure out if AP is related to checking the legitimacy of marriage?

01/2016: Petition filed for my visa
02/2016: USCIS confirmed receiving our file/petition on 1st Feb.
04/2016: I-130 Approval email received from DHS towards early May, our case was approved end of April. 
03/2017: Paid AoS and IV Bill
03/2017: Sent AoS and IV Packages via mail.
04/2017: 5th day of April, NVC received package. Can take up to 11 weeks for CC according to nvc.

06/2017: 6th day of June, Case Completed - confirmed via phone

07/2017: Interviewed end of July 2017.

>> Passport with Visa received the next day of interview 

8/2017: POE via JFK


05/2020: N400 Filed

06/2021: Biometrics taken

02/2022: Interview Scheduled (Yes, after 22 months -.- )

Finally Issued!! After 7 weeks and 2 days.

What time did they changed your status to issued ?

AOS from K-1 visa

5/27/2016: Entered US on k-1 visa

6/01/2016: Married!

7/22/2016: I-485 & I-131 & I-765 sent to USCIS

8/1/2016: NOA via SMS & Email received

8/3/2016: NOA letters received

8/10/2016: Biometrics appointment letter received (scheduled for 26 August)

8/26/2016: Biometrics done at Alexandria, VA

9/19/2016: RFIE E-Notification Received

9/23/2016: RFIE Letter Received

10/27/2016: Responsed back to RFIE Letter

10/31/2016: USCIS received RFIE Letter

11/15/2016: Open Service Request on USCIS as EAD/AP was beyond regulatory time frame

11/15/2016: An hour later EAD/ AP approved, Status Changed to: New Card is being produced

11/22/2016: AP approval letter received in the mail

11/23/2016: EAD/ AP Combo Card in Hand, collected from mail box at 2pm.

12/07/2016: USCIS status updated to interview is scheduled for 01/09/2017.

12/10/2016: I-485 interview letter received in mail.

My K1 visa status change from immigrant to non-immigrant visa and case creation date also changed on 03 May.

I emailed embassy and got reply today that my case is in the final stage of process/review and feel free to check back with the office after two weeks.

Based on your experience, what do you think when I will collect my passport back with visa? Thanks

My fiancee had interview 1 on 3 march and reinterview on 12 april, which was approved and she was told 12 days

Updates on 7,8,15 march and 4,7,12, april in AP

Returned to ready on 12 april with updates on 20,21,23,25,april n 11 may

I know it is hard to wait but they have been working on your case a lot. Your visa should be issued very soon.

I have two questions though

  1. Has anyone seen a case get rejected at Islamabad after Approval from CO/VO ??
  2. How much is the max AP for a female on K1 or CR-1, I mean there are men here since 6/8 Years :crying: But What about the longest AP any woman went through?
