My wife interview was on March 31st. Interview went good just few questions at the end of interview the officer give her all the documents and kept her passport and told her everything looks good we need to do some work You will hear something in 3-4 weeks. Since then no update on ceac. And it says administrative process.

My case got updated today for first time but still in AP. First update was on April 4th that was because of email inquiry after that no update. I checked it today it says case update April 21

I had the same situation my wife had a interview on 31 Mar 2016 and ever since her case is AP but on 21st it was updated twice and yes it was early morning update US Timing.

I just checked and it says issued after AP thanks ALLAH. My wife interview was n 31 March she was given white slip and was n AP first update was on 21april then on 27 April and on 28 issued. Those who are still n AP I will pray for everyone of you to get visa soon Insha Allah

Hey guys so my fiancé had her interview on March, 21 2016 and they gave her white paper with 22g-AP. they said to check back with them in 4 weeks and said that every thing is ok and kept her passport. I emailed them on April 9th which was late Friday night and on April 12 I got a generic reply saying to contact them in 2-3 weeks and our application is under process. Thn on April 14 I got another update without any inquiries. I don't know what to make of it and should I be excited about it or just take it with a grain of salt??

Also the email I sent them was very thorough and included that I am a reputed physician here in US and so and so....

So have you revived the passport?

and can you please update your timeline as it will greatly help other people who are in AP after interview.

No they kept her passport during the interview and told her it will take 1 month but its been more than 5 weeks now.

AP is a waiting game. Her visa could be issued soon or take months. Updates are a sign that they have worked on your case so they are a good thing. All you can do is keep track of them, check the ceac website everyday and also check both emails for instructions from the embassy.

Do they update status to issued on Fridays or did anyone get update on their case on Fridays ?

I got two updates on my case last week on Wednesday and Thursday but no updates in this wee!

Yes they do Update on Friday .today same AP update today after 8 March.
