Just submit the papers, and wait for them to review it, there is no timeframe on when they will issue visa, its all waiting game.

We don't have new joint sponsor .plus my wife does not need it not now.cos she got the job after sending documents.we already provide bank statement high clearly show how much she makes per month and where this money come from, I don't understand why it's change status to ready like interview .u think someone working on file or what,any idea

Since the interview status change Ready like its was before interview 3 times.interview was 16 it change 17,18 and 21. What's is that means and what u think what is going on.

I think it just hasnt updated properly, have u called the national visa center to get any information they can give u?

No I did not called they.after shifiting case to embassy and after interview do they still have information about ur cases?

Yes they do.

They dont ask for bank statements, has ur wife filed her taxes?

After 2 months of AP, visa issued today.

I have a question. How long do we wait until we hear from embassy? Also, the immigrant lives in Lahore, and that's what we indicated where we would like the passport sent... but we sent the additional required docs from karachi AEG services center., we were required to create a profile on their semi functional website where in order to complete the profile we had to select "Karachi" as the location where we would like to receive the passport from. So now, will our passport be delivered to Lahore or Karachi?

Again... at interview we asked to deliver to lahore. At time to submitting additional paperwork after interview, we indicated karachi but that was only for AEG's website. So what do you guys think?

My wife case was put on AP since 02/24/16 interview in Islamabad, no status change yet, CO said to contact in 1 month.

Please share any suggestion and experience. What is a best way to make it faster.

There is nothing you can do to make it faster, it is all a waiting game, if they need anything they will contact you

Congratulations on getting your visa. The ELIS fee is paid usually before you leave Pakistan so that your green card (work permit and proof of being a resident of the USA) can be made. Have your wife go on ELIS and pay the fee. She will need some numbers off the visa so scan and send her a copy of it.

Some airlines make you pay for luggage...call your airline or travel agent and ask about this.

Where is your POE? The visa journey website has information on POE. Look at the very top of this page for POE information.

if you are flying from karachi, take the etihad flight.. it's very cheap right now but make sure to pick the A380 flight and not the 777 flight. the 777 flight is a jet airways disguised as etihad your immigration/ customs will be completed beforehand at auh airport and it makes life so much easier. in the usa, you just walk out like a domestic flight.
