4 years 3rd month of Administrative processing......no progress, no update.

If you visa issued today you should have your pp by 17th Dec BTW many congrats you could also track your pp in amex website.

It took 3 interviews, 2 field investigations and 4 years before my husband got his visa. Do not lose hope. I know another couple that are still waiting after 6 years. Karachi_Guy I do not understand why there have been no updates on your case but believe me the embassy has not forgotten about you and at some point will begin work on your case. To them the years they make us wait are nothing. You still have every chance of getting your visa. Continue to pray for it. That is all anyone can do.

Carolyn, thanks for all you said, but desperate thing is that my immigration process started in 2009 and i got interview call in September 2011.

since my interview to date embassy did not do any action , embassy did not ask for any thing as yet, not called for any other interview, no field investigation,

from day first to as yet one reply, your case in admin process ....normal process, nothing wrong, etc. etc.

At least in last few years they should show some action on my case?? isn't it??? even since last 2 years they dont even bother to reply emails.

if some time they reply then case update and then forget and stop.

I am very tired and desperate now, if they dont want me to give visa at least they should reject me but putting me in this waiting phase, its just killing me day by day....

I went on their website it says they are off for one day for new years and one day for xmas; but when i went to the American express they said they are usually off for two weeks collectively for both events. Is that true? Also will these affect my AP case? What exactly happens when a case is under Ap

There is quite a few from Pakistan currently in AP. You can skip towards the end of the thread to see the more recent posts. AP is for further background checks.

I highly doubt the embassies will be closed for 2 weeks. At most the eve's and the holiday. (4 days)
