Hi All,

Whats the ability of senator can do for case under AP?

I am going to contact our senator to make follow up our case. The case is under AP for 3 months. we e-mailed the embassy 3 times and they told us different answers that make us confused and frustrated. once they told us that our case is in its final processing and last e-mail reply they told us another answer that our case is pending under AP.

Any advice please? :(

Senator can inquire on your behalf, but it will not speed up process.....

Are you getting updates?????

Which members have female applicants(immigrating to usa) AND

How long u are/been on AP.

(AP for male applicant is comparatively long right?)

All he/she can do is inquire for you, but it will not help accelerate your case.

hi dear fellwas..

i am in AP nearly 2 months ,and i have just 2 updates since than that was on 2&3 Nov.

does any one status changed after 60 days of AP like :ready/nonimmigrant/ etc.?

I am afraid with all this crzy things happening in the world ,it might not delay& effect ousr visa process here at islambad embassy for all of us ?any thoughts

And as far as i know we are all Male applicant here stuck in AP? CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG

Have a good day cheers x

@HeavensAngel:

you are right, mostly they start updates after 60 days. I saw only date updates but not ready/nonimmigrant/ etc. the creation date is stil same. I hope they will issue our visa before Jan, 2016. InshaAllah. :)

As i see your timeline, they ask more pictures. Mine I had all evidences with more than 100 pictures but they didnot ask anything. the suprising thing was when i came at the window where the CO was waiting. after I read aoth. I looked CO's desk i saw my case file withh all the papers we summited. but there was also white letter with marked 221G AP on the desk. that was the moment i realised they put me under AP. imagine The CO already decided the AP before the interview. and finally the CO gave me the same letter. I was shocked.

When someone touches your file, you get an update. Now what was done, why was done, what they find,it remains known.

An update can be healthy or injurious to a case at the same time.

There are professionals sitting ISL Embassy, their decision is solely based on merit of our case and their standard proceedings(not biased by crazy things going out there) If your relation is genuine then its nothing to worry.

I have not seen any typical pattern suggesting that females are put less in AP, although it seems so. Or may be we all males are here at VJ killing time and females busy in other useful stuff. wailay nikamay munday, USA ki larkiyaa mil gai.

So The moral of the day is ''Stay Put''..

THIS SHALL TOO PASS..

And do listen Chlay to katt he jae ga safrr, ahistaaa ahistaaa.. by Mussarat Nazeer

I am male applicant too.

I think the reason they put me AP is that my name is more Islamic name the first name, second name and last name are all most popular Islamic names. :( May ALLAH help us. ameen.... :(

The dilemma is our wedding was very simple, just 10,20 family members. SO only 10,20 pics of that day..... I told CO this is what I have, but I do have a lot of other pics of us together, I think wedding day pics was more important to CO. Fair enough

One of my friends name is MUJAHID HAQ. He was given B1/B2 after 5 days

There must be some other reason, some RED FLAG on your case and I hope if you think care fully, you will find one
