After an online inquiry, how much time does embassy usually takes to reply?

What does your friend plan to do about his 7 day visa. Can he fly to the USA or will he try to get more time from the embassy?

Guys need your opinion. Docs sent on 7th. Were to be delivered on the 9th. Assuming they were delivered and received as there was an update on the 10th. 11th embassy was closed. And since then, no news. Do u think its ok to email and ask or continue waiting? U think its too early? I know some people get called sooner within a few days and some get called later like after a couple of weeks. So what do u guys think and suggest? Thanks.

I think '' to email and ask '' is always OK, plus it releases a bit of anxiety too. There is no harm sending an email.

Today I got an update,mostlikely it was due to my email I sent recently, but its still nice to see the dates changing :)

I would wait. We turned our docs in on 11/4 and got an update on 11/13 which is likely when they received our docs. My fiance then got a call today for a fingerprinting appointment next week. We were planning on giving the embassy 2 weeks max to respond to our docs and if they hadn't then i would've emailed or called.

Well see my SIGNATURES... All updates are belowww...

One on 20, 27,and 17....

And About status thing, it says AP, and I think we get only UPDTAES, status will change once its all done,(from AP to ISSUED) correct me if I am missing something in between
