There is a place lawyers can email to in the State Department. I believe it's called legal.net. My lawyer emailed them all the time about my case.

I do not remember the name of the website she used. Any US immigration attorney would know what site it is.

vj's please advise if it's a positive sign if embassy states a time line when they have actually started working on a case plus whos involved in processing plus when they have done follow up.. it does sound little beyond then saying the regular copy paste of AP reply...let me know ur comments...??

Congrats to everyone that has received their visa!!

So after 2.5 years of AP, my husband was finally issued his visa. We got AP after our interview and my husband was called after 15 months for a fresh medical and oath. He went to the embassy but was told some work remained on his AP and that the DC office was working on it. But they assured him that it would be completed in 6 months but of course that didn't happen. So after another 15 months, he was called again for fresh medical and oath. And finally approved :)

Good luck to everyone still waiting...just be patient and pray. Everything will work out at the end.

Congratulations!!!......best wishes for future!!!!

My prayers are always with everyone who is waiting , this is such a nerve wrecking experience. I pray we all be reunited with our loved ones and this torture of a journey be over
