feel disappointed my case not updated since 19 August .. i don,t know what they are looking for ,,,

islamabad embassy nor reply of email nor case updated ,, i don,t know whats going on in embassy

any one give me idea what i do ?????

The update I got yesterday ( sep 17) was an email the embassy sent my local senator's office to remind us again about how to submit the medical/ds260. I have had my local senator communicating the embassy for the past several months so any major update, the embassy writes to the senators office and they forward it to me so that is what yesterdays update was about. The embassy asked me to submit the barcode number to them from the ds260 via email so I just got done doing that.

Today my husband submitted his medical and two photos to the embassy so lets see when they schedule him for fingerprints.

How long has it been since your interview?

The only thing you can do is wait i know its hard but thats all we can do.

when they cal for medical so then with that they always cal for ds 260 too???? OR they some time cal for medical only?? and what is the difference between these two??

Ds-260 vaild for a year and the medical good for six months its really depends on embassy what they're going asked for it if your ds-260 still vaild for few more months

Do u guys know any one whos ds 260 is expired but embasy hav askd only medical but not ds 260,,,,,, like what i am asking is that is there any one with who the embasy contacted after more than a year and ds 260 is expired but embasy only has told to submit medical and not ds 260

2nd question: Is there any one u know who embassy told to submit ds 260 and medical but not caled for oath and fingrprint??????????? and then it expired and embasy hav told to submit again.....?????

no positive updates as of yet..waiting for a very very very long time..was asked for fresh meds n ds230 back in 2013 i am the senior among all of VJ's on AP...its clear the US immigration system is broken..they are ready to give protected status to illegal aliens from many territories but not ready to bring inn a legite immigrant...i bet DOS has extreme backlogs in figures of millions each month and an add on wait time for applicants from PK combines years of waiting..its not the consulate to blame on its the overall processing, scrutiny and "classic" way of inter departmental communication keeps adding wait time over and over again. I think it even invloves misshandling of keeping data/file with up to date info as the data gets expired with the timeline while all the info keeps rotating untill it all becomes current or valid to adjudicate visa...

how come u havent taken legal action? Like the writ mandamus, u over qualify for that, your case is wayyyyyy outside processing time.
